I use my phone in my Car via BlueTooth, the player I use is Google Music since it automatically downloads my songs into the phone. My question is how can I make Google Music be my default BT player rather then the Music app that came with the LG Optimus G. Whenever I am in the car and there is a BT connection the default Music player is used rather then Google Music player.

Hi Folks,
Let me preface my saying I dont actually own the One X. I'm actually waiting for the HTC One to come out in the next few weeks to get that. I saw that both of these phones had HTC Connect DNLA feature with select Pioneer AV receivers.
My question is is HTC Connect compatible with Google Music player? Reason I am asking is because most of my music is not stored locally on my phone but rather in Google Play cloud and played through Google Music app. Can I still use Google Music and stream to my Pioneer receiver ?

Sure, you can download Google Play Music from the Play Store.

yes of course I realize that I have Google Play Music on my current device. But what I'm referring to can be seen from the video below. You can skip ahead to about 45 seconds in.

"All you need to do is open your music player, play a song, and select menu and choose Pioneer receiver"
Is this ability there for the Google Music player?
i was wondering the same thing. I don't see it on the google player. OP or anyone else, if you've found a way to do this with google's stock player, we'd appreciate an update.
Okay so recently we bought 2006 Jeep Commander with the Factory Navigation System installed but without the VES (Video Entertainment System). There is no AUX cable port or capability to stream music using the integrated Bluetooth system. It does however come with the Uconnect system which allows for calls to be streamed using Bluetooth. I was wondering if there is a way to make Uconnect think there is an incoming call but instead play music. Any help? Thanks!

Yes you can use the Uconnect to stream music. After you connect to the system via Bluetooth then go to sources on the system. There will list your sources and Bluetooth streaming with your device will be listed. Touch this option and goto music on your phone and start it. Works well in my Dodge Durango.
Has anyone gotten the phone to send metadata to their car through bluetooth when using Google Music? It seems to work with the default music app. Is there a way to fix this or work around?
Got the same problem with Spotify and Deezer, though the latter does a better job. When streaming Spotify qua Bluetooth to my car radio (original Volkswagen RCD -510) the radio display is just showing the first streamed track name, the following song's names aren't updated correctly...
Got a Galaxy S6 GM920F on Stock Android 5.0.2
Are you steaming the songs or are they downloaded into the phone already?

Streaming doesn't work with Pandora either. It works from time to time with Milk Music.
works fine for me in both of my late model cars, with Pandora and spotify, and google play music
Has anyone figured out a work around if any possible? Weird thing is that it does show meta data for that samsung demo song the phone comes with when it plays with the default music player.
I get both streaming and downloaded or copied music while using a Kenwood DDX 719 unit.
Pandora or Milk.
Also all my contacts while making or receiving calls.
Pp.
Hello. I have a 5x rooted with 7.1.1. I have just subscribed to google music. Is there a way to stop google music auto playing when connected to my car bluetooth. I use tunein radio most of the time but I have to disable the Google music app to allow tunein to play. This is inconvenient if I choose to use the Google app.
TIA

That really depends on your car's system I think. My VW doesn't automatically play yet my wife's Acura does.

What works and what doesnt (iOS 13) ?
1) Does is support app notifications?
2) Does it have health data sync?
3) Will it continuously display the current song playing on my phone? Can I use the watch to go back / forward a track?
4) Does it support pairing directly to bluetooth headphones and spotify premium (offline) music if I want to leave away from the gym?
5) Is there anyway to transfer MP3's using Windows or MacOS for offline listening if it doesn't support spotify premium if I want to leave the phone away from the gym?
6) Does it pair to the phone via bluetooth or wifi? Does it need a companion app running in background 24/7?
Anything to be aware about?

Hauwei site is lacking
Unfortunately, Spotify doesn’t offer its service to Huawei GT 2. Thus, you cannot listen to Spotify music on Huawei GT 2 now. The best method to get Huawei GT 2 Spotify is to download offline Spotify music tracks. With the Premium account, you can download Spotify music but your Spotify music are cache files.you can transfer Spotify to MP3 by using the Tunelf Spotify Music Converter which can download music from Spotify to MP3 and save Spotify music with the original audio quality. To transfer Spotify songs to Huawei GT 2, you need to move those converted Spotify music files to your phone first. Just connect your phone to your computer for uploading Spotify songs. Then import Spotify songs to Huawei GT 2 from your phone.
