CM9 to CM7, downgrade radio? - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Hey gang, nothing in the Inc II forums about this that I could find. It's pretty straight forward question. I'm currently running CM9 with the .0320 radio and want to flash CM7. Do I need to flash a new GB radio like .0312 or can I stick with the ICS radio?
Thanks.

Try it and see. Flashing radios is easy enough. Flash cm7 and see if it works well. If not then try a different one. You won't hurt anything trying it. I personally didn't notice much difference with different radios.

MIUI Radio

Do I have to flash a different Radio for MIUI?
What will a different Radio change?
I installed the newest (german) Version without any Radio on my Desire and it works fine. Only thing I hate is a little delay after phone call is established.
Thanks for your help!
You only need top change radio of you have problems with your hardware. The radio updates the hardware's firmware. On miui xj rom here on xda doesn't have this delay issue.
TouchPaled from Oxygen with Transparent XDA App
So you would't update the radio?
Are there only the original radios from HTC or are there also custom radios?
[Q] captivate kb3 Radio
I flashed the KB3 radio today but I didn't receive an signal. I don't find any solution neither on the MIUI Mintberry Tread nor in the Modem section.
Maybe I'm a bit blind ;-)
Is there any possibility to compare the KB3 Radio with the MIUI Mintberry Rom?
Actually I'm complete new with MIUI so sorry if it's a stupid question.
I read that all CM7 radios are compatible with the MIUI Roms.
Now my Question is:
Is an captivate Radio an CM7 Radio?
Has anybody an solution for my problem?
Thanks in advance!
General rule with radios, if it works just leave it. If you have a bad radio flash it will brick your phone permanently.

No custom radios, just later HTC versions.

What are you asking? There are only HTC radios, some versions recommended with some Roms.

Help with flashing CM9 or CM10

Okay, so as you may see I'm a new member. I just recently read up on the CM9 and CM10 thread. and i see that you have to flash a radio in order for it to work properly. So when i went to download the radio on this guide ---> http://www.teamchopsticks.org/p/cm10-install-guide.html it said that the file wasnt available. So can anyone please hand me the radio that was provided? Im using T-mobile by the way.. Also, can i just flash another radio like this one ----> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1842207 does it matter? Thanks in advance.

How do I backup my radio

Hello newbie here, I am thinking of trying new radio but how do I backup my current(incase other ones are not that good)
Thanks
Well, I'm sure your current radio is out there in a flashable zip. I have them all. I could give a link to one of your current radio for you to keep for safe keeping.

LoopDoGG79,
How many radios are out there right now? I've searched and I've searched but I've not found any "comprehensive list" of all radios that are out that are flashable.

supersain08, I don't believe you can back up any radio... I remember reading on a post somewhere. However, you can keep flashing a new one... so know what you have, or what you should have (ICS=UVLE1 and above) Whatever you do.. DON'T FLASH A GB RADIO ON AN ICS ROM

Here is what I got, plus the LC8 one. Been collecting them since I've joined XDA. Each is ICS compatible.
Edit : Here is a link of various mirrors, including some radio's

Nice... thanks yo!
off topic... but what file manager are you using there? And what's that shield icon on the top left?
You've themed your JMT pretty well... what did you load on to get that nice WiFi logo?

[Q] Regarding Cm10 Radio use.

Hey everyone,
I have noticed a few people using Radio: 1.09.01.0312 but I noticed on the PG32IMG post that this is from a Gingerbread based radio?
Would it be better to go for one from the ICS dump or stick with the Gingerbread one?
There is also a chance that I am totally lost with all of this lol
Thank you for the help!

I have been running the .320 radio for several weeks now and have not had any issues with it...I have also tried it with CM10 and all seemed to work. I can't say for sure that it is better than the .312 radio, but I don't think it will hurt to try it.

NO.. obviously not, the radio has got nothing to do with any ROM. Its directly related to hardware and it should not be messed around with unless you're sure what you're doing. The radio will work the same regardless of any ROM.
