EFS for T889 - baseband unknown/imei null

I would like to know if I can get a clean backup EFS file for T889. I dont have a backup for the device and I urgently need one now to fix phone. I have baseband unknown error and imei null. Anyone able to help?

Just an FYI this is the wrong section, it should be posted in Help & Troubleshooting.
But anyways check these posts out, I had lost my EFS and NV files and following that helped get everything running again.

You didn't say how, or what you were doing when you lost them but if you were trying some of the 4.4 ROMs it will appear that way on some phones, mine being one. Download a stock ROM and flash it after wiping all, don't have to wipe external SD. Or if you still have one of the ROMs installed pm me and i will walk you through getting it going. If it's unrelated to flashing, follow the advice given.

Rooted my NoteII 4.4.2. My IMEI and other stuff got deleted. Restored old EFS backup but it didnt came back.

Is there a connection between them ? Isnt this about corrupted files ?

I have the same issue. Lost IMEI and SIM not recognized.
Since I'm a total newbie, could you please be more precise or address me to a tutorial or post?

I'd just tried to restore efs/imei by myself during one month and I'd got anything working. One guy has helped me:

He charges 10 euros for remote repairing. A really just and nice price!

If you don't have EFS backup, no way of fixing that... You can try to reflash back to stock (that helped with corrupted EFS on my old Samsung) but there is a small chance for that to succeed.
First rule if you want to do anything with this phone is "always have a backup"...

I do not know if trying to restore a backup of someone else's EFS partition will do any good.

i just need the file also .. i get the octopus box that can repair the original imei but when i try says no efs detected

I accidentally erased my efs trying to format a corrupt usb drive in TWRP. Could you help me out with my efs please?

It doesn't help. I've written a new efs and new clean certs, qcn, and unlocked with 2 different people. I'm still not registering on to T-Mobile, AT&T Prepaid, Cricket or anyone. I think erased EFS needs to be fixed by Samsung.

Hi to all i decided today to flash my device with RUU.exe finally i flashed but i broke my EFS partition... device can't find my Wi-Fi and IMEI is empty i can write IMEI but i think Wi-Fi and other stuff wont be solved ( also baseband is unknown ) i think i can repair my EFS with a working efs partition can anyone send me a efs backup on private message for security dont worry if you not living on turkey because i can't use your imei and i swear i'll change the backup's imei thanks to everyone

Hi, I'm in the same situation, I'm from Argentina. I would need a copy of the efs folder and I would change the imei to my own! I hope someone helps me! thank you very much!

No one helped me and i think no one wont help you either i dont have M9 now if i had i'll post a efs backup immediatelly

There is no efs partition on HTC phones. It only exists on Samsung phones.
You probably flashed a GSM RUU on a CDMA device or vice versa. Return to your original firmware and hope that you didn't damage the phone unrecoverably since the partition layout isn't the same on those two variants.
