I jus flashed my HTC WFS n installed ICS 4.0.4,its Bloody F****** ROM,
I faced many problems like,
cam not wrkng,
V.Low Battery backup,
At the time of charging its getting heated...
And,
I could not get all the official sense widgets... So, I would like to get back my HTC WFS with the original rom that I got when I unboxed my phone.....
Plz hlp me....

Calm down, No need to rage!
CM9 by modpunk is the best ICS ROM for our phone.
if you don't like it, you shouldn't have installed. All the bugs are clearly mentioned there.
About CAM: Camera is perfectly working in RC1. Some performance issues are there but they are awaiting Drivers.
Battery? I get 12 hours of battery on ICS. Which is way better than what i used to get in sense. Check your configurations.
Heating problem? It is with every wildfire. Check your overclock settings for that.
CM9 and all ICS ROMS are senseless ROMs. If you are looking for sense widgets in them you are making a fool of yourself.
To revert to your original ROM follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1467844
P.S. Next time you flash a custom ROM please read disclaimer and Bug list so you don't end up raging on devs.
Also if you have Stock nandroid backup you can use that.

It is, just not in usual way. To record video, you have to use IgCamera app and to play it, you have to use some external player with it's own codecs like MX Player.

Thats not a ROM. Thats a guide to how to revert back to original state. You will find stock rom in index. Download whichever suits you.

Google Play has nothing to do with cm9. Download latest gapps for ICS and flash them. It works quite well for me.

WHENEVER I TAKE SCREENSHOT the screen comes broken in d screenshot image... i never had this issue in previous stable version of cyanogenmod... but i dont know why i hav this problem now...

This is a very strange and an annoying bug in cm7. The biggest one for me. Even the same thing will happen if you try another app like screenshot uv/screenshot it etc....
This problem is not there in cm9 and froyo.
yaa it was nt thr earlier... i dnt knw y othrz dnt hv this bug... someone plz help fixing this.. bug...
n using a app for taking a screeshot is useless... wen the rom itslf has d function..
m looking forward if sum1 can fix this.

Having the same issue here. I've got two wildfires with CM 7.2.0 and one takes good screenshots while the other one looks like the one in this topic. Exactly.
I think this might be due to some tweaks we have made in the settings > CM or ADWLauncher.
I can confirm it involves the ADW, sometimes you can get good screen captures by resetting or rebooting it. But after very few tries it comes back to taking broken ones.
I've been useing cm10.1 from the first nightlies then the camera stoped working ,after that i installed paranoid android but it still have the same problem then the stock samsung and removed root but it still have the same problem HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP sorry {BAD ENGLISH}

Samsung Stock Camera App does not work with CM
I had this issue with both JellyBam and CM 10.1
I use Camera JB +
Had same problem, ended up being a baseband or kernel problem. Can't remember exactly which, maybe both. Try different kernels, I know Siyah kernel has working camera. Good luck!

I have htc desire hd after soo many sleepless nights i was able to root it and tried few roms (android revolution cm11 cm10.1 soo on) finally oxygen rom suits me . I want to know details about this kernel thing.Am attaching screenshot of my phone .What exactly this kernel is and which will be the best kernel for my phone ???
Before rooting my phone battery back up was 3hours max with using wifi or mobile data but after flashing this rom am getting around 6 to7 hours backup .
help me out whats best for my phone

You can try svhd rom new android(4.0.4)new kernel,new sense 4.1 and is better for battery life.

SVHD rom was cool i tried but after few hours facing phone hang problem it stuck suddenly then i have to pull out the battery
am download blackout rom ..
if u know any other good rom let me know

I can tell you who is better becouse is custom rom.
I try meny roms but for me soul rom is better,you can try z74 is the last version improve battery and kernel and is in english.You have link up.

You need to full wipe an then flash new rom,do you have s-on?If you have you need to flash boot img.

dude i flash your soul rom n i loved it i made up my mind to have it then after few minutes its disconnecting from charging or usb ....when i switch off my phone then i can charge but when i charged when its open its discharging not able to connect to pc too any solution for that ?

Hello,
Using ViperX Rom and lyapota kernel. (this issue was also present before I flashed lyapota kernel)
Since the flash at times the camera would work fine but then when I would run it, it would display green vertical lines and taking a picture would show the same
, the front camera works fine always. And if I switch to video recording the camera app would just quit, on CameraFX same happens at times and switching to recording would give an Error could not connect to cam.
At times when I hit up camera it would display an old display like the last time I took a picture of and it would be moving forward and back (one odd frame)
Attaching screenshot for better idea.
I did flash the Rom over and again but following the correct method and everything else works fine
The search brought some fixes of green coloured images.. But that doesn't apply in my case.
great Rom otherwise.

This is quite a common problem. Either the camera is broken or the mainboard is.

Thanks for the feedback
But this issue wasn't there with the stock ROM before I had it flashed with viperX ...and if camera/mainboard is broken shouldn't it always not work why would it work at times ..
Let see what others have to say ..

Ok if you not sure flash ROM close to stock and see if the camera working or flash your nandroid backup

But actually I am sure , the stock ROM had the camera working .. it never glitched on stock ROM. Still I should try another ?

Flashed MaximusHD 21.2.0 - same glitch . .out of three tries cam worked all fine just once ..
Should i give AOSP based Rom a try ?

MaximusHd is with stock kernel it is hardware problem but if you want try AOSP

i am only flashing the ROM , not the Kernel using lyapota kernel which i did few days prior ..will do one more sense rom then go with AOSP also mix match this with a Stock Kernel before heading for Repairs

I have found a way to know how to use it .. i dont know why thing worked but it seems to work now ..
1. I have used UV -10
2. Dont use the Stock Camera App
3. if the camera is running and the screen times out it will again get stuck so dont let that happen
4. when i open the camera i keep it vertical ..
all of this pretty much makes no sense .but I am able to use the Camera without the Glitch and old stucked Image issue

i have moved on to HTC M8 and in my particular phone the issue was a hardware one .. IC issue was causing it .. maybe you should also get it checked ?

its located on the main board just beside the camera... but when you will take it for repairs the guy will understand .. also note does your phone get heat up near the camera when you keep the camera running / ?
