1. Can you mount /data (during backup)
2. Can you boot into it using vol+ + home + power
If not then Galaxy 5's port works too..
I think you have posted in the wrong section.

Cwm7???
I am running cwm4 (I have galaxy fit)...and up till now only cwm5 and cwm4 is available for my device!!!
Maybe you are talking about cm7 (cyanogenmod7)...that is a rom, cwm is a recovery...
Even my device doesn't have official cm on it (there are only unofficial ones)...
So you will have to be patient
2.3.7 was for nexus.
i have a better solution... there's a .zip from the skin1980 thread. each time you need clockwork, just go in recovery mode and apply the zip, it will boot the CWM

If you have a custom ROM installed just wipe cache and dalvik... reflash that ROM and gapps and reboot
EDIT: always make a nandroid backup when ever you flash something you are not 100% sure it will work on your device

You have a couple options here. Two that pop into my head immediately are download a custom ROM make sure it is for whatever device you have I.e. maguro, toro, toroplus. Boot into recovery and follow the directions in the ROM thread to install. Or download the stock images for your device and boot into bootloader and fastboot flash those. There are guides everywhere to do this.
Edit: forgot to mention that in recovery if going the ROM route you need to get that ROM. zip onto your SD card. Do it by mounting SD card in storage and adb push the zip to /sdcard.

Going back to the stock may help you after wiping dalvik cache.

[ROM] JWR66V JB 4.3 [Flash-able] (Takju) & boot loader -Now deodexed v. is available!
Made flashable though Dsixda's toolkit, Thanks to dsixda for that toolkit!
I can't assure that this works on your Nexus, I ahve tested .zip files myself and works well on my Nexus!
If YOU get BOOTLOOP:
Flash another ROM and then wipe cache and dalvik cache and then flash this ROM!
Flash it at your own risk!
This isn't so good flashable.zip so you may end up to boot loop!
Use Fastboot to fix or any other fixing method!
If you don't have fastboot drivers install them from here: (It's for verizon variant, but works on Maguro)
www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/SCH-I515MSAVZW#
HOW TO PULL BACKUP FOLDER:
in terminal / command prompt:
adb pull /mnt/shell/emulated/clockworkmod/backup/

Ohhh yes...downloading now, good job
Initial Review/Impressions:
Install went as smooth as any other flash install. It looks basically the same but the screen transitions are really smooth (note that I have not installed any apps yet, will update when I do). The first major difference you see is with the camera, the interface has been changed a bit and it does look cleaner, all the usual settings are there i.e. Photosphere etc.
I haven't noticed anything else at a first glance but I will keep on updating as I go along and I will also do a proper battery test.
The usual array of Google apps are pre-installed, although now Google Keep is also added, default browser is the regular android browser though, not Chrome. The usual wallpapers and live wallpapers are present, nothing new here either.
Thanks for making this available so quickly

No, only risk is that IF something goes wrong during flash you can say bye to your Device :good: I've done this MANY times and never had problems, so... good luck to you (and me, since I'm doing it right now)
Follow the steps to install directly from the Factory Images without loosing any of your data on the SD-Card.

How to install Twrp ([Team Win Recovery Project)
Now first of all credits goes out to Team Win for making this amazing custom recovery, secondly make sure you have root if not you could find it on the forum somewhere. mod editload mode by clicking (Volume up+Home button+Power button) at the same time
then it should come up with some warning then click continue.
4) Plug the phone into the computer via USB cable
5) Open up Odin and click on PDA then open up the file GT-I8160-TWRP-Kernel.tar.md5
6) Hopefully you have install the USB driver because the rectangle just above should appear as COM(number)
7) Then if you are staisfied and checked everything is in order, go ahead and click start!:fingers-crossed:
8) Hopefully after it finnishes it should reboot if you wanna check go ahead and boot into recovery mode and hopefully it should install!

Thanks for this, flashed it to my stock rooted ace2, HK band yo~ It rockz~!
then i flashed cm11, it run nicely. so i try to make a backup and found that twrp was replaced by cwm, so i went striaght to flash twrp back. then the phone refuse to boot... it hang at "SAMSUNG GT-I8160" screeen

after that i flash twrp again via odin and then hang at boot.
Thank you.
thank You OP
thank you, thank you,. thank you!
I have had a bit of a nightmare recently with my Ace 2 as one of my recent posting shows.
there are far too many hits on Google to so called tutorials that simply do not work and I have spent years (or is that weeks?)
in getting my phone downgraded/rooted and with my preferred CWM.
the last straw was all the none working advice to get CWM installed, and then I found your thread.
10 minutes later TWRP was installed (a permanent one also!) - and my phone backup up.
all together now -
"happy days are here again -the skies above are clear again - dum de dum de dum de dum! :good::laugh:
First of all I am a noob and dont know much.

but personally i'd recommend Philz Touch Recovery for Tab 3 (there's unofficial mod)
