LOL!! What you need to do is have your phone rooted and use root explorer to remove it or you can "freeze" it with Titanium backup or just find a custom rom that does not have it in there... We only really have 3 custom roms to choose from though and I believe a couple of them are in the roms anyway (at least the link is)...
Or you can hook it up to your computer and you should be able to find where it is hidden (as far as the game data is concerned)

As the others are saying to Root your phone to remove NFS most wanted game, yes you can do that but the game is definitely not taking 5GB of your memory. that 5GB is separate partition for recovery, System and etc. So even if you remove all the APPs off of your phone you are not gonna get more 11GB b/c only 11GB is available for you to use. if you need more space then buy micro SD card which is not that expensive. i just bought a 64GB from BestBuy for 50bucks.
ill root it when 4.2 is out for this phone.. Damn Sam sung whats taking so long ><
The DEMO for this game is huge. Its like 2GB! I wonder how big the actual game is.
Unless it is the entire game and is just locked down... not sure, either way it uses a lot of space. So I removed it.

How did you remove it? I have root and titanium back up.. just delete the apk?
To be honest, I find it annoying not being able to delete demo games without rooting.

That is one thing that really bothers me about carrier handsets. At least when ya get bloat with PCs you can semi-easily just wipe and start fresh, wish there was a "full feature" and a "basic" setting for handsets when you set it up.
Since I am new to Android and stuff, would this work: In titanium backup (after rooting of course) if you press and hold the NFS game, a menu pops up, select Convert to User App, and then after it converts, uninstall?
I recently redid my phone so it is currently not rooted, I want to wait until 4.2 to re-root, but can someone confirm on this,

TB let's you uninstall system apps so it's unnecessary to convert it to a user app first.
Also, the apk for NFS that came on your phone is tiny - like 50KB. If you installed the update, that's nearly 2GB and it can be uninstalled without root. Just find it in the Application menu in settings, and click the "uninstall update" button. That'll free up the 2GB.
I'm currently trying to remove useless junk from my note and improve battery life. I found debloat scripts for AT&T and International Note 3 but could find any for T-mobile Note 3
Since debloater scrpit is not available for T-mobile Note 3 does anyone know safe to remove bloatware list on KitKat?
Thanks in advance!

If you use the app 'Clean Master' it will give you a list of all of the pre-installed or 'bloatware' apps on your phone, and then a recommendation of whether to keep it installed or if it's okay to delete. I found that app to be the most effective for what you're trying to do.

if you type clean master in the play store it should be the first app to show up, the Icon is a picture of like a broom with a blue handle. It ranks 4.7 with over a million downloads.
Ok cool I will try it out.

Here is the link Clean Master by KS Mobile
Found this PDF. It's for SGS-4, but the files are almost identical.

I would go with uninstall master unistaller it will convert the bloat ware apps to user apps for easy removal and does great job as free app.
Here is the link also read the reviews

Thanks!
Thanks for all of yours replies guys! :good::good::good:
forgive my ignorance here. I'm new to all of this.
My 2014 10.1 was giving me all kinds of issues, but mostly, battery problems.
I decided to root the device, and did so successfully, checking to make sure. It is.
But now, I'd like to remove bloatware and Samsung apps that I feel might be causing the issue. How do I go about doing this?
Cannot find, searching the web, what needs to be done now. Thanks for the help.,

Your safest and best bet is to install Titanium Backup and FREEZE the bloatware. I'm not recommend to uninstall or delete system apps. After you freeze, you won't see them in your app draw, and they don't take up space at all. If by accident to freeze one of the critical app which may cause problem but you could easily un freeze and back to business.
Flash a custom recovery, twerp 2.6.x.x, and flash a new rom.

Don't uninstall anything, freeze with Titanium Backup but ultimately install xposed and greenify all unnecessary apps, aside from a handful, all my apps are greenified. I don't greenify system apps but you may some select few. Battery performance is far superior this way.

Ok, i'm a total noob and i admit it ...rooted my Note 2014 successfully, but like the OP i really don't know what to freeze...
1. If i freeze Samsung Apps (and widget), Samsung Hub (+updater) will the other samsung individual apps still update themselves? I'm interested mainly in updating Sketchbook for Galaxy (the one the tablet came with) - i asked in another thread and no answer
2. what is "greenify" ? (same as "freeze"?)
Thank you
Mike

Freeze is the same as uninstalled, frozen apps do not run. It's safer than removing because it's still on your device and you can unfreeze anytime.
Greenify is a module for xposed. It stops apps from running in background. Greenified apps are available in your app list, run them as usual. But when they are not used for some time, greenify closes them. In your example you'd like to greenify Samsung Apps, not freeze, so you can run it regularly to check for updates.

Put a sticker on it "Warranty void after 10 minutes", put it in a picture frame and hang it on the wall.
I am about to pull the trigger on a Verizon Note 4 and have few Q's
What crapware does Verizon install over and above what Samsung has installed on top of Android?
I understand you can either disable it or hide it, correct?
If you disable the crapware, does it still run in the background?
If you hide the crapware, does it still run in the background?
Thanks for any insight.
Bob
If disabled it does not run in the background.....it also hides itself from the app drawer
what about app store updates

So what about app updates from the Google App store? Do the apps still update even when disabled/hidden?

Thanks for asking this, OP. I was wondering the same thing. I used to flash a lot of ROMs, but haven't been as flash happy on my S3. For me, root is most useful for:
1. Removing crapware from Verizon/Samsung.
2. Avoiding updates that break things.
I guess that this takes care of the first item on my list.
I hear ya'

Yeah, I've been reading a lot on the xda forums about the root issue for the Verizon Note 4.
I'd like to have root too but it might be extra tough on the Verizon Note 4. I'm actually not counting on it (unfortunately).
My fingers are crossed though! I'm hoping some Linux guru can take advantage of some 3.10 kernel exploit so we can have (real) control of our own hardware.

Head over to the bounty thread if you haven't already. [emoji3]
Samsung Messaging (com.android.samsung.messaging) and Gallery (com.android.samsung.gallery [??]) are just two pieces of samsung software i can't get rid of no matter what i've tried...
Any suggestions? (Besides calling then HSV1 and HSV2 and managing symptoms..)
TIA
They are Samsung stock apps...
Use a package disabler to 'hide' them, or root to remove them

Be careful of random links like this one, could easily brick your phone
Use XDA guides specifically for the S9
