Rom Manager recovery safe?

I'm on FH13 rooted and wondering if clockwork recovery in rom manager app is safe from emmc... it seems like everyone is posting that clockwork has to be put on differently than just installing the app and using that recovery. Am I missing something? Or is it safe?

Dont use rom manager recovery.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
So does that mean it is not safe? Or you don't like it?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
Rom manager and this phone equals nasty things.

OK. Yeah I thought that it had, but just wondering if anything had been updated. Agat still the way to go?

Agat, Kuban kernel, etc.
My suggestion, until you research the others more (not being hateful) is to use el26 cwm recovery. There's a quick boot el26 but I don't have the link handy at the moment.
Please don't use Rom manager. I'm afraid if you do, we'll see a post about your shiny new paper weight.

you can read this thread and flash garwynn's carrier partition img
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2062499&page=16
Easiest way to go pure LJC, ready-to-go-back-to-Sprint is to use Billard412's restore .zip.
Reverses the bootloader, fixes carrier, puts you back to LJC and resets the counter.

Something wrong?

So I rooted my note 2 using 2nd method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1955423...and unrooted following the same steps but I still get modified in the status instead of normal. Any help anyone? Am I doing something wrong?

I'm not at my computer right now, but..
You need to download Odin to your computer, download the stock firmware of which model phone you have (make sure you download the right one)
And flash it via Odin.

The 1.26gb file sounds big (even with stock bloatware)... if that file containes modem/radio content then make sure you have a backup first
