So now of sudden my wifi wont work
there is a loop when obtaining ip address
i am using cyanogenmod alpha 3 kerlnel 2.6 , it worked all the time.
Can you help me,what should I do ?
got the same problem with my s3.
found that 5.4ghz (a) works fine, but 2.4ghz (b, g and n) get stuck on obtaining IP.
once or twice it did connect, but then on reboot it will fail again...

Please read all this with patients, 10 days i rooted my phone, its succesfully done, aftr that by mistake i installed 3D CHAINFIRE . My phone stucked with booting, i flashed my phone with s9111b_mp_f2f3f5f8_b1_in_mmx_14_ my phone got booted and first problem is INVALID IMEI. I got solution with In Engineering mode and re installed my IMEI. And my main problem is in my mobile i am not able use in WCDMA only. when i select wcdma only mode my network will show no service.i used wcdma only mode in same sim with same mobile before flash. im in bangalore and i m using Aircel 3G even i try with Airtel 3G too same problem,, and i desided to flash with other rom and i flashed with s9111b_mp_f2f3f5f8_b1_in_mmx_16. again same IMEI problem and resolved it and now same i am not able use my internet praporly.. even EDGE signel also not working correct.. so please every one please HELP ME to find out solution,, AND I GOT NVRAM error too in wifi.

am having a very strange problem with my phone, first it was the sim not working, until I continuously remove an install it again and again,
it was first runing on android 5.0 fully OTA updated.
However in a try to resolve the problem, I connected it to LG pc suite in order to get the android 6 ! it was working for a day, but it suddendly it stopped and went OFF for ever.
Thanks to a thread here in the forum, I Hard bricked it then soft bricked it with kitkat 4.4, it worked without any problem, but when the auto updates went to lolipop 5, it stopped again.
I installed marshmallow 6 with flashtool, the phone is working with the SIM without Internet with no problem, but, when I connect it to the net, and specially when I enter my gmail account it goes to the same loop again, and I have to flash it to return back.
Please Help.
Check which version of gapps your using... That's the only thing I can think of
now, i know this type of question has been posted alot before, but none of them has seem to work on my device. It's a on version ZV9 marshmallow and after hard reset in the initial setup i am stuck where it asks for wifi,(i tried skipping it but it would just reload the same screen). if anyone has a solution please help!!
