please can someone indicate me any application that i can change Desnsity of apps or all system?
i already used paranoidandroid but im searching similiar apps that can change applications resolution in omega rom
For a system wide change you can change the value in your build.prop, or you can install the xposed framework and the per-app settings module for it from the original Android development section to change the dpi of apps individually.

Sorry where to locate build.prop file? Requires ROOT?
If you are looking for a application it's called LCD DENSITY MODDER in play store. Don't forget to follow the instructions regarding the play store compatibility when you are changing the dpi.
Or you can flash HAWKISH ROM it has inbuilt application in the settings + much more called pimp my rom
Hope it helps

You can just change the dpi yourself by changing it in the build.prop or downloading xposed installer and xposed settings app and changing the dpi of anything on your phone individually.

I am running Omega 12 with Simplistic Framework V3.5.1. I have changed my dpi to 220 & have modded my touchwiz launcher to:
8 dock (landscape aswell)
6x8 home & app draw (8x6 landscape)
3x5 widget preview (5x3 on landscape)
6x6 folder (9x4 landscape - might need changing) with title changed to middle.
Landscape only available if simplistic framework installed.
screenshots : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vegq00xkmeoon6e/XSPMfcg_Gk
Bad Stuff:
Splanner widgets not scalled properly but rest seem good.
Landscape homescreen only shows 6x5 - anything below is cut off & if you look at the download apps screenshot the txt at bottom is a little cut off but could be fixed sometime.
I have not fully tested the 9x4 folder, it may end up 9x9 as the fixed col option is set to 9.
Looks best @ 220 dpi for landscape or if you only want portrait looks great @ 240 dpi apart from the widget preview window is a little out.
If you want to try it or fix it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ei8a6gjpxczlm7a/SecLauncher2.apk.mod
Samsung keyboard made by bala_gamer: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hkpu7g9iwvnvzm1/SamsungIME.apk.mod
To install copy the .mod file to system/app then select the .mod file and change permissions to rw-r-r, then rename the original seclauncher2.apk to seclauncher2.bak and rename seclauncher2.apk.mod to seclauncher2.apk. Do same with the keyboard file.
Then install the Xposed framework and Appsettings module to change dpi for: splanner, phone, internet, contacts, flashbarservice, clock, camera & calculator to 320dpi.
Change google play service & play store to 200dpi ( I lost apps until I set it to 200).
Thanx, i will try it

Search for Xposed framework mod. In there you can assign different DPI for any app, so set your system to 240 and set launcher to 320. Unless you just want more shortcuts on "desktops" then in Xposed there is a mod that allows 5x4 icons on desktop. Look here mods repository.
Thanks for the help but i found some other post which i must have missed the first time around i browsed through.

I have SM-P600 2014 edition. Looking for any recommendation to increase DPI. Default is 320 I am thinking of 250. Couldnt do it using BuildProp Editor. I am rooted with stock recovery.
Any suggestions ?
I wouldn't do this if i were you. I heard somebody else tried to do this and after restarting his tablet, it went into a bootloop.
Worst thing that can happen is that you have to flash a firmware via odin
If I remem er correctly there is an app called "pimp my rom" which has tons of options. There you were able to change the dpi. I would perform a backup first and then try

Thanks for the response. How do I backup ? I have not installed custom recovery yet. is there a way to backup through stock recovery ?
Btw I tried changing with BuildProp Editor (always worked on HTC) but for whatever reason after reboot dpi is resetting back to 320.

Best off using Xposed and installing App Settings so you can change individual apps DPI and leave the system ui alone !

DPI
Xposed and App settings - set system and android to 240 dpi.
Keeps the notification bar narrow. Alternatively, use Fullscreen.
Launcher icon size will needs tweaking up and a few other quirks like keyboard. Stock Google keyboard adjusts automatically but others may need tweaking down to around 160 dpi.
Adjust other apps to your personal taste.

He uses "App Settings". Just look into your Xposed Installer App. Go to"download". There you can see the available mods

240 is the best imo. I used Texdroider Dpi to change. Simple and fast, dwl from playstore. free.
Is there a dpi setting that brings the notification drawer to the bottom again?

As far as I know, the apk itself never has the DPI specified. The DPI is read from your build.prop (known as ro.sf.lcd_density) and when your application is opened, it adjusts to that DPI.
Please note that I said opened, not installed. If your DPI is say 240 when the application is installed and you change it to 180, the next time you open any application it will automatically be running in that DPI.
The App Settings app with Xposed Framework is working perfectly for me for all apps with different DPIs. You might want to check the following :
1. Check if the Xposed framework is properly installed.
2. Check if App Settings is enabled in the Xposed app
3. Make sure you are pressing "Save" button after changing the app's DPI
App Settings (or maybe Xposed) really does not work on Opera Mini. I tried it myself. This is weird.
