Hello, I am running PACman ROM on a virgin mobile HTC One V.
I cant find any information on configuring the phone to work as a hot spot. When the computer connects it has limited connectivity. I am led to believe this is an IP issue that virgin mobile has put in place to kill the data connection when tethering.
Wondering if anyone knows how to bypass this or has a little more knowledge on the subject.

Hello, I was curious if I can use 3G and wifi at the same time. When I turn on wifi it switches 3g off if a network is present. Can I have them both working at the same time
Hi, in my opinion this will not work. How should the data be separated? As far as I know you or the sw has to decide which packets have to be send over which connection. What do you need this for?

Sounds weird you should try to unroot and send to reparation
Hi,
so it is a hardware fault? but how to test out when in the service center?
Thanks
Might also be your operator. Ask him first!
Ok, Ive been very disapointed with my internet speeds, so i decided to look into it. Turns out, Virgin Mobile USA has a proxy, which all of its users are routed through (which is why when it goes down everyone had a data outage). I know there has to be a way around this proxy, but im not exactly sure how to get around it I need some colaboration on it.
Hello, recently my phone decided it no longer wanted to connect to wifi, i did eventually fix that (restarted my router/modem) however, now i have no internet, i can access the local network fine (i've tested this by running xamp on my pc, and accessing it from my phone) but the actualy internet won't work, so i can't access google or any other website, and i just can't figure out why
now, i'm not tech illiterate at all but i just can't figure it out.
any help will be apericiated

Go into networks, access points... Aka APN, and change the settings. E correct settings should be in q and a or general forum... Based on what you saying.. Its my guess. Could be wrong tho.

what would my Mobile Data settings have anything to do with wifi problems?

My mobile data isn't the problem though, its my wifi, i cant access my home internet, I can access the local area network fine, but no internet, my mobile data works fine though (am sending this message via mobile data right now in fact)
Edit: fixed it, my modem/routers settings were really strange and messed up

I am having an issue with Mobile Hotspot. I used mobile hotspot with my last phone. I am using the same sim. I have setup mobile hotspot. When I try to connect a device to the phone I can see the device connect in the Connected devices area in Mobile Hotspot. Then the device disconnects. I have tried resetting network settings. I have checked the APN. I have changed the Hotspot name and password. Still nothing will connect to the device. Any one else having this issue with an unlocked Note 10 Plus?
I figured out the problem. I feel really stupid. But I did speak to Samsung support and AT&T support. They didn't figure it out. So i guess I shouldn't feel so stupid. In Mobile Hotspot and noticed Wi-Fi sharing was turned on. I turned if off and the problem was resolved.
