Did you check the APNs to make sure the internet.windmobile.ca APN is there already?
(If you haven't go to: System Settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > check for Wind CA)
If you don't have Wind CA, press Menu > New APN > and in Name type Wind CA, APN: internet.windmobile.ca, MCC: 302, MNC: 490, APN type: default, supl, APN protocol: IPv4 .
Hope this works!
HOLY! Thank you so much Man you just saved me thanks a lot!!!1

If you have read my previous posts you will know that I recently tried to update to Doom Kernel and Ice Bean. I couldn't get wifi or 3G working so I tried flashing Arc Knight and Jelly Sandwich. I got Wifi working but still no 3G.
Using flashtool I changed to stock .431 firmware but I still don't get 3G. I live in South Korea and have a South Korean model Arc (LT15i) on SK Telecom. I think they use a slightly different protocol here for cellular communication (wikipedia says UMTS/HSPA), could that be the problem? I have searched the forums and the internet and not been able to find any original Korean Firmwares.
Please help, I really don't want to be using the stock firmware because of all the crappy bloatware! (I should mention that 3G/HSPA was working on the stock gingerbread firmware I was using before.)
Info: the phone's SI number is 1247-0400
Thanks
Edit: Just had a look around on some Korean sites and it seems that the global rom is working OK for them. Could it be the internet settings are not downloading from the operator correctly?
Are your antenna at WCDMA/GSM setting??

Yes it is. I think it was something doom kernel did
OK... after much digging around and testing of my Korean skillz I fixed it! As I previously suspected the internet/data settings were wrong and the 'download internet settings' button wasn't working.
In case of anybody else with a Korean SK Telecom phone here is what I did:
Settings -> Wireless and Networks -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names
Use the menu button to bring up the option of making a new connection and use these settings:
Name: SKT
APN: web.sktelecom.com
mmsc: https://omms.nate.com:9082/oma_mms
MMS Proxy: smart.nate.com:9082
MMS Port: 9093
Authentication: none
Menu button and save. Return to the Access Point menu and select SKT.
That's it!
Hi all,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 from Verizon.
It is updated to the latest Software from Verizon.
Settings --> About Phone
Model Number : SCH-I535
Android Version : 4.1.2
Baseband Version : I535VRBMB1
Kernel Version : 3.0.31 -861013 [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Feb 14 15:16:58 KST 2013
Build Number : JZO54K.I535VRBMB1
Hardware Version : I535.10
It is rooted. It has superuser installed.
I checked whether the phone is rooted or not with RootChecker and the App showed me that the phone is rooted.
I bought the Titanium Backup Pro and APN Manager PRO from Android Market.
I made APN Manager PRO a System App by going into the Titanium Backup Pro.
Initially I was unable to enter the APN in Home-->Settings-->More Settings ---> Mobile Networks ---> Access Point Names.
But after making the APN Manager Pro a System App using the Titanium Backup Pro, I was able to enter the APN Settings.
The settings I entered are
Name : Straight Talk
APN : att.mvno
Proxy : Left Blank
Port : Left Blank
User name : Left Blank
Password : Left Blank
Server : Left Blank
MMSC : http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS proxy : 66.209.11.33
MMS port : 80
MCC : 310
MNC : 410
Authentication type : Left Blank
APN type : default,supl,mms
APN protocol : IPv4
Enable/disable APN : Check Box selected with Green Tick Mark.
Bearer : unspecified
Can Any one tell me, what did I do wrong?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris.
You would get better Verizon S3 support on a Verizon S3 forum.
You do realize you have a cdma device and that you're trying to operate it on a gsm network, right?

Chris, the SCH-i535 does support the GSM chipset, but it's designed for the foreign (oversees) GSM networks. Verizon is a greenback vampire! They want people who travel aboard to to use their gsm networks oversees (because cdma is US only). Depending where you travel oversees, varies to 3g/EDGE, that could be because you're ST SIM, is not pulling in the appropriate PRL's that correspond to the GSM chipset the SCHi535 rocks. Hope that helps!
Cheers mate!
Hi all,
I just got a N900T which is sim unlocked
Device status is official
android version 4.3
baseband version is n900tuvubmi7
kernel version is 3.4.0-1670611
built number is jss15j.n900tuvubmi7
I personally have H2O service and would like to use this On H2O, what sort of steps I will have to do to upgrade this to the newer version of kitkat, root it, and possibly upgrade the modem to take advantage of ATT LTE, and a ROM which is provider neutral, deblouted, stable and fast.
Ill appreciate any help

Step 1: Chainfire Auto Root to root your phone
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2466423
Step 2: RegionLock Away to SIM unlock it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470551
As for upgrading the modem, I don't think it's necessary.
This is from the thread that discusses using the T-Mobile Note 3 on AT&T:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2464498
Will LTE work on AT&T?
Many people have confirmed that LTE works. There is no speed difference between an AT&T branded phone and the Note 3. Documents obtained from the FCC and also on T-Mobile's site say it supports the frequencies used by AT&T. Do NOT give AT&T your IMEI to your Tmobile Note 3. If you do, AT&T's system will remove your LTE data even though it works perfectly. Give them another AT&T Android IMEI if you have to or if you are coming from an Android phone don't even talk to them. Just remove the SIM in your old phone and put it in your new phone. If you mess up and give them the IMEI some people have gone to the store and gotten the IMEI off the demo unit then gone home and called ATT to change the IMEI. You can also get an AT&T Android LTE IMEI from a family member or friend's phone. It will not effect their service in any way. One user also reported explaining the issue to a rep that changed the default plan and manually made it a plan with LTE. I'm not sure that a lot of reps on AT&T's front line know how to do this though.
What APN settings will my Note 3 need for AT&T and MVNO's?
NAME: ATT Phone
APN: phone
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
APN type: default,mms,supl,hipri
Then go to the home screen menu setting, more networks, mobile networks, network mode and change to LTE/WCDMA/GSM.
Although, you might want to try the settings that H2O has on their website to see which one gives you better speeds:
https://www.h2owirelessnow.com/mainControl.php?page=dataManualConfig
Step 3: Install ROM of your choice. My recommendation, Hyperdrive ROM. It gives you Aroma installer, which lets you customize basically every aspect of your install. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2709867
I hope this gives you the info you need to get up and running.
Thanks a Million
Wrong APN data is inside this Rogers phone for MTS
apns-conf.xml is showing wapgw1.mts.net and mmsport 9201
It is my understanding that it should be using 209.4.229.90 and 9401 based on this article http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/...-g4-phones-t3189469/post62576106#post62576106

MMSC: http://media.videotron.com
MCC : 302

Yes, I used these
Assuming you're using a Videotron LTE compatible SIM card, you may need to contact them and have your phone re-provisioned.
