Hi all. sorry to barge in like this, but i got myself in a stupid situation.
Despite better knowledge, i tried to root my phone without making a backup...
and you can guess it, it's bricked...
It's the Samsung SGH-M250K (Korean model).
The biggie is, i cant seem to find any kernels (that was the only update i did). Searches leave me nowhere.
Is there anyone who knows, or has, a stock rom?
Tnxx in advance, from a stupid non-backupper.
Problem solved.
I found a friendly korean that put several stocks online, and after installing it worked. Later on i found an xda thread that had the same roms...
Now for my rooting problem. anyone?
Esy rooting

Sorry if this has been posted before but Ive searched and cannot find an answer.
I helped someone root a droid inc using the method at unrevoked.com. Everything appeared to work ok but the phone will not connect to 3G.
I have tried hard resetting and called tech support but to no avail.
Does anyone have any suggestions? If not is there a way to return to the stock rom?
Thanks in Advance.

Did you flash a new ROM? I know that I once flashed MIUI and it totally borked the 3G. Try flashing Virtuous 3.20, it's the same as stock minus bloatware etc. and is incredibly stable:

There are ways to unroot, but don't give up hope just yet! There is beauty and bacon here in the land of root to be had for anyone with a little time to search and tinker

Search in the "android development" forum for a thread called "3g drops fix" or something like that. It will solve your problem.
EDIT : Ok... It's magical, now that I posted this, I just get to root my phone... I found a new thread on a french website. In fact the only thing I changed from the other tries I made is that I started from the unbranded, generic 2.3.2 french firmware flashed thanks to Flashtool and then used GingerBreak (It took a few minutes, 10-15 mins.) to root, now I'm updating via OTA.
For those who want to try this way, here's the firmware.
Sorry for the useless post :/
Hi,
It's been a while I try to root my device, flashing it many times unsuccessfully to get the right rom, but no way.
I tried many ways to do it, following step by step many topics, used GingerBreak, SuperOneClick, anything I found, but nothing worked.
However I remember that some time ago, I did it and got root on my device, so why isn't it working now ?
Could someone help me ?
Thanks
Mate, it's all good that you managed to get root on your device but I don't know why you needed to look up another website. All the info you required has been available on XDA for ages.
A helpful tip - use the Search. You could have found the solution ages back and you wouldn't have to open a new thread for this. Sigh!

Thanks in advance
..
Okay here is what I have tried so far, Superoneclick gets to step 7 waiting on device and hangs up. Have tried the Zurg rush tool, when it attempts to do an adb remount it fails with a msg operation not permitted. So I'm stuck now, so anyone with some ideas or insight please chime in, thanks
Just another update the UniversalAdroot apk does not work, anyone with any ideas?
Still looking for help, since this phone is relatively inexpensive, there is going to be a lot of them out there. And a lot of people looking to root them. Just hoping someone will give me assistance as this will also be solution for others as well.

Well at least your thread pulls up when running a Google search for rooting this phone. Did you try the CyanogenMod instructions for the ZTE Blade? Thats the only other suggestion I have since I don't own one yet.
Post back here if you have any luck. I might just get one as a spare.

Hi
So far, anyone found a way to root the ZTE V768 (Concord) ?
Anyway to upgrade to 3.0?
Thanks
Michel
I too would like to see this rooted. Then maybe I can delete some of those factory installed apps I would never use.
ZTE lists a way to manually upgrade the firmware for a Concord (V768) with a PC running Windows. Maybe it can be used somehow to root this device?
I can't post the link because I'm a new user, but just search for the Concord on the ZTE USA website.

, but this does not look like a OS upgrade, only a PC Driver update
I will try it and see if it affects the phone.
I have asked T-mobile to get the Concord unlocked, they couldn't but required an answer from ZTE directly...I should get something next week only!
So did anyone figure out how to get this phone unlocked?
BTW I'm surprised how little support there is for this phone considering it's the cheapest tmobile android option by far.
ROOTED!!
For those looking to root their ZTE Concord I have successfully rooted it using the ZTE Score option! Working on installing the Clockwork mod now and I think I'm going to tinker with the JellyBlast ROM for the Galaxy Y considering these phones are fairly similar
nvm on last post its installed su but did not install the binaries

Ah dang, I thought someone had figured it out! Any more luck? I'm going to be getting a hold of one of these soon and I'd really like to know what kind of options there are for rooting.

Alright I tried rooting with update.zip for the Galaxy Pocket considering these phones have similar hardware but still no go! :crying: Has anyone had any luck?
First off, I'm not new to rooting etc. I've previously rooted several HTC devices and achieved s-off which for those ofyou who know HTC phones, know that the process can be difficult.
That being said, I've recently switched to my very first Samsung device and have achieved root with no problems, but was unable to flash any roms. After searching for a week and coming up empty handed, I decided I'd try the all in one toolbox. I downloaded it and when checking my build number, I discovered what my problem likely is.
My phone is with telus and is the 1747M.
How have I managed to get that build number? Can I change the build easily enough? Should I leave it on that build and just use roms meant for the i9300?
Thanks in advance for your help!!

DO NOT USE i9300!! If it is a carrier device (i747[M]), which it is, you will brick your phone and have to get it JTAGGED. You need to only flash ROMs located in this section.

Please start by reading this thread, reading that thread will help you understand Rooting and installing Roms. Reading that thread will save you from Bricking your phone, as you would have done if you'd flashed a i9300 Rom onto your phone.
Sticky Roll-Up A Guide To All Guides and Q&A's
I've read all of that stuff and the answer to my question isn't there. My build number is the same as listed in i9300. I wasn't going to flash any of those roms without finding out if that was the solution to my problem. I don't want to brick my phone and therefor I stopped doing anything to it until I was able to get some help on how to proceed. I only discovered the build number issue when I tried to use the all in one toolkit and noticed my build number didn't match any of the telus ones but the 9300 ones. I guess I'll just have to continue researching on my own to figure it out. I wouldn't have posted if I wasn't stuck. Thanks anyways

Don't pay attention to build number.
Flash with Odin a pre rooted i747M image. (That's the easiest way)
Do not and I mean DO NOT flash, use, mod anything i9300 or anything international.
Please read some more. A lot more.
Before you end up with a paper weight.
And stay away from anything i9xxx

Hi All,
I just bought a Nexus 7 2013 the other day and it shipped with 5.0.1 and I need to take it back to 4.4.4.
I'm using Wugs tool to go to 4.4.4 but every time I just get stuck on a Google screen after the flashing is done. I can use the tool to successfully bring the device back to 5.0.1.
Any idea what i'm missing?
Thanks,
Josh
Bah, if I knew how to delete this thread I would.
I couldn't find the answers I needed using search terms I thought would work, but eventually I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013/nexus-7-2013-qa/mount-recovery-t3064562 which is the exact issue I'm having. Following the instructions there to resolve me issue.

If I had to guess I would imagine it is because of your boot loader version.
