dalvic to SD? - HTC One V

I have been reading about people moving their dalvic cache to their SD card. My question is is this even possible, specifically on the HTC one v cricket CDMA(primoc) and would it actually improve anything? Any answers could help, thanks

Ics data stats

Where are the ics data stats stored? I swear after romming my phone it hasn't wiped each time?
Is it stored on the sd or am I wrong?

Cache storage.

Why does the app caches gets stored in the 150mb app space although there is a separate cache partition. This case is the same with all the roms I have tried.

Because is the cache for the user app,not for the system app.

Frequently Used Apps

Hi,
Does anyone know which file in the all apps list controls the frequent apps tab in the main menu or does this just come under Sense?
The list of apps on this menu tab never seem to update so am looking to do a reset/clear data, cache etc. I have the usual suspects in there like mail, messages, internet but mirror & voice recorder? Never opened...
Thanks.

Might be Htc Sense? If I recall right , launcher and app drawer are the same app? Not 100% sure though, but worth trying

Cleared cache/data on Sense, Settings, Settings Storage to no avail.
Surprised no-one has brought this up previously - presume not many ppl use the frequent menu/tab...

In layman terms wipe cache in recovery.

Can you advise how to do that?

just boot the device to recovery by first turning it off, then press volume down key and the power button at the same time. Then highlight recovery in bootloader by moving with volume keys, and select it using the power button. When you are in recovery just select the wipe cache partition option
I hope this helped.

Many thanks, haven't come across the term CWM before, only bootloader.
Ended up hard resetting due to another issue I wanted to try & resolve also. Not really sure what happened before to prevent the frequent tab updating but it works now.

CWM = ClockworkMod (recovery)

Clean up

Any body know a way to clean up the Evita without losing root? I see on my file manager files that shouldn't be deleted. Like supercid, and twrp files. What's a safe way to do this?

Question may apply to many different phones. But before you ask more questions, this is not the forum for your phone. HTC one XL forum is the one you need in the future !
Sorry hoffs. I get the forums mixed up at times. The att rogers and Telstra and the plain one x forums. My bad!
