Like the title says. On my wife's phone using freeza stock ROM my Google accounts always log themselves out. Does anyone have this issue?

As the title says, i get that error when i try to add my yahoo mail account to the stock email application. I don't care about alternatives that much atm, i just want to see if i can fix this damn thing. Tried simply rebooting and erasing app data, but nothing.
Btw, i'm on aokp m3 with franco 16.1.

What setting did I shut off because my holidays are no longer on the Calendar? They use to be there before I exchanged my phone for a new one.
Thanks

Click to collapse
Open the calendar app, settings, calendars, and tick the US Holidays box. And hit done.
First thing I looked for. That field or option is not there. I must have shut that option off some how. Any ideas?
Thanks

In settings-> accounts and sync, do you have a gmail account? The US Holiday calendar is through google.
Yes, I have 2 g-mail accounts. I checked that as well. Driving me crazy. For whatever reason that option just isn't there, I must have screwed something up somewhere.

Got it. I basically just manually synced the accounts, rebooted and the holiday option was there. All else fails reboot I guess. Thanks for your input it did help.

Sometimes doing things twice makes it work lol. And always reboot. Glad you got it working.
I recently formatted my AT&T Galaxy S III SGH-I747 to factory to get a fresh start in the mist of rumored Jelly Bean update coming soon. I synced my phone with google to get all my app data and profiles and such. Some reason my bookmarks I had saved to my gmail account are not only gone but I dont have the option to save new bookmarks to the gmail account. Anyone know how to fix this? Saving bookmarks locally on phone isnt enough for me. I thought syncing them with google was enough.

My wife and I have Galaxy S3's on Sprint's crappy network. Uptill yesterday in are messaging folder we would have orange and green dots by our names. Orange for when you are off your phone and green when you were on it. As of know there are no dots ay all. Any idea's

The dots where for Gtalk when you where logged into gtalk. It would be represented on the messaging app so if you wanted to chat or video via gtalk. Gtalk was replaced by Hangout which is the new chat/video app for Google.

Here's the thing is we never used Gtalk in the past, so I couldnt tell you if we were ever logged in or not. We have updated to that Google Hangout, I have tried logging into to it to see if I dot was replaced on my wifes phone and its not, so I'm kinda confused....Anybody have any ideas?

No hangout does not have that feature so you will never see them again, unless Google incorporates into hangout or you might see a different thing. Your phone would have automatically logged you into gtalk once you signed on your phone with your google account. If you did not go into gtalk manually and logged off you guys where always logged in.

What odd is my wife had it on Friday for like a few hours and then it dissappeared again, I should say I'm refering to the dot notification. Very bizarre, it was a nuce useful feature

I know this is a known issue, the stock email app when not on data keeps saying login failed to my yahoo account despite the fact that my information is correct. When on wifi, there is no error ever given. Is there a replacement stock email app or a solution to this madness? I swear I hear that sound maybe 30 times a day. Running 4.2.2 TW.
