Evo not getting all texts?

Hey guys ive been having a problem with my evo the last 2-3 weeks. Basically I have not been receiving many text messages that were sent to me. I am rooted on Calkulin's EViO 1.6 and have never had this problem before until the last few weeks. I have had everything updated(PRI, profile, etc). If someone could help me figure out how to solve this problem it'd be GREATLY appreciated, because I have missed a few important messages on my phone already. Thank you very much.

Anybody in the Buffalo, ny area Cant recive texts?

i noticed today that i cant receive any texts. Anybody else in my area cant recive them? i know it aint a rom issue since ive been able to receive fine up to today, so im guessing its a service issue and i would call, but ita 11 at night and im sure sprint is closed
i live in rochester , and am receiving texts by the bucket load , lol
ugh and now im not able to send either -.- imma reinstall aokp and see if that helps. if not sprint has some explaining to do later
I'm good on send/receive right now
If it is anything it is probably network issues. In the NYC are whethe network get too busy when I home, there are times when don't get text or calls and it will take a few seconds before a call connects. Call sprint and tell them you are having network issues. As well as talk to people in your area to see if they are having the same and get them to call as well.
I've figured out why I haven't been getting text messages.a friend of mine installed Google voice to rest the integration with Sprint.and when he uninstalled it he left the "receive texts via Gv" checked.so all my texts were being sent to Google voice, not my phone

Duplicate text messages?!

Anyone else getting duplicate text messages? I flashed StrongSteves Odexed Blue ROM a couple days ago. Later on the night I flashed it, i was getting duplicate text mesages from everyone I was talking to. I waited it out til the next day and it stopped. Well this morning I flashed the new LG8 Modem. When I started texting a few people this afternoon, i started getting the duplicate text messages again. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or have any recommendations? I love this ROM but i can't deal with the same text over and over lol. Very annoying. I don't think its a sprint issue either because my buddies at work have sprint and are not dealing with this.

This happened to me a few weeks ago, Sprint told me it was due to network updates for LTE devices and the duplicate messages stopped the day sprint told me it would be fixed. My wife has a Motorola, and she started getting repeat messages yesterday, so just out of curiosity I disconnected our Airrave. She hasnt got a duplicate message since.
Dupes are always network side.

[Q] (Sprint) Anyone notice a long delay when send/receive SMS after latest update?

Anyone who updated to the latest OTA (LI3) notice a huge delay when sending receiving text messages now? My wife's Sprint GS3 may take hours to receive SMS msgs. Sometimes they are instant, but last night, her sister texted her around 10pm and she didn't get it until 12:30am. This didn't happen until she got the OTA last week. Is there something I can do? I was going to uninstall Go Launcher and GoSMS Pro to see if it helped but she loves both apps and I don't see why they could be the culprit anyway. Unable to receive SMS msgs sounds like a Network issue to me?

I got a text Sunday morning that somebody had sent to me over a week prior.
Yesterday afternoon/evening, Sprint was having cell issues, at least in the Milwaukee. Data was working beautifully, but I wasn't getting calls (despite 3-4 bars of reception) and sent texts would occasionally elicit a "The message could not be delivered due to a temporary network setup error," response from some Sprint server somewhere.
Not sure if I should call Sprint Tech Support, Take it to a Sprint Store, or Take it in to Best Buy where she purchased it to have it looked at. I am just worried that if I take it in to a store to get fixed she will be without a phone for a few days while they take their sweet time working on it. Anyone have any experience with Sprint/Best Buy (Geek Squad) Tech Support and know how it works?
Also, I am not against Rooting. Both my Epic 4G and my 3VO were rooted, as well as her Photon, but I was really trying hard to not have to root either of our GS3's. But, perhaps rooting and reflashing back to stock and just not accepting the LI3 OTA will fix the issue?
Forgot to mention, one of our neighbors has an Airave at home and this is where the issues predominantly exist. Could the Airave have something to do with it? Maybe it's not playing nice with the latest LI3 Radio?
their was an outage thats why some messages were not going through.. all fixed now

I heard that the outage was in the Pacific Northwest. I am on the East Coast (Central NJ to be more specific). And data still works, it just seems to be SMS only that she is having issues with at home.

[Q] Text Issies

Figure I might ask this in here since we all have t-mobile Galaxy s2's. I am having a texting issue. I don't get all my incoming texts. It seems as though my friends that are with Virgin Mobile can't send me texts but then I found out that another person I know with T-Mobile are getting their texts. For some reason whenever they try to text i get zilch but they receive mine right away. I am getting my texts from everybody else I know without a problem. Has anybody had an issue like this before and if so do you know a way to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!:crying:
