[Q] Trouble Sending Texts

So the past couple days I've noticed that my texts sent from either the stock app of GoSMS Pro have not always been sending. I don't get message failed to send errors, it thinks it sent but it just never went through? I'm using SRF 1.2, and I have my number tied to Google Voice. I have no issues receiving texts at all. I have been verifying the sending of texts by looking in the gvoice app to see if they sent. I have never had this isolated issue before. I tried re-flashing the ROM to no improvement. Any ideas? Anyone else see this issue?

I was having this issue the past week and it randomly started working again. I did the same thong though trying to reflash and everything to no avail. I was just dealing with it and magically it just started working ib the last 30 hrs or so.
My guess is sprint is doing some sort of tower changes and its messing with service.

Thanks, yeah it came "back on" I guess you can say a couple days ago and sent out a whole bunch of texts in a row and has worked normally since. Must've been a network thing. I'm glad I didn't mess up too much on my phone loL!

MMS Stopped working randomly with stock app?

So mms randomly stopped sending. Alway sworked fine, i was on 4.0.3 AKOP. Wernt to 4.0.4. Worked fine for 2 days. Now its always stuck in "SENDING". I thought it was just ATT's network, but i then dled handcent and it sent through that fine. I tohught my ms app was fubared some how. So i nandroid restored back to my working previous 4.0.3. And it did the same thing!
Only handcent is sending mms through, not the stock app. Im back on 4.0.4 akop, any ideas!?

I have been seeing some strange things from MMS lately myself. I sent a picture of my house to 5 friends a couple of weeks ago. Then last week it sent out the picture to them again on it's own. I started getting replies from them saying it looked nice. I thought to myself what are they talking about. So I went into my SMS app and found that the mass message was at the top again. Then last night it put the picture in 3 different peoples messages. I have no clue what could have caused this as both times I had not touched my phone for at least a couple of hours.

It just makes no damn sense to me?
How can i restore back to 4.0.3 and it still be a app/rom problem?

Seems im not receiving MMS messages either. Anyone else on ATT with the Gnex?
Im in the philadelphia 19403 area.
What are the Mobile Network APNs that are supposed to be on the phone? This is frustrating. I dont think it has anythign to do with 4.0.4. Because like i said, i restored backl to 4.0.3 and same **** is happening.

Nobody else is really experiencing this issue?
I really dont feel like it but i guess ill try a full wipe. Any suggested AKOP build that has minimal issues?

[Q] (Sprint) Anyone notice a long delay when send/receive SMS after latest update?

Anyone who updated to the latest OTA (LI3) notice a huge delay when sending receiving text messages now? My wife's Sprint GS3 may take hours to receive SMS msgs. Sometimes they are instant, but last night, her sister texted her around 10pm and she didn't get it until 12:30am. This didn't happen until she got the OTA last week. Is there something I can do? I was going to uninstall Go Launcher and GoSMS Pro to see if it helped but she loves both apps and I don't see why they could be the culprit anyway. Unable to receive SMS msgs sounds like a Network issue to me?

I got a text Sunday morning that somebody had sent to me over a week prior.
Yesterday afternoon/evening, Sprint was having cell issues, at least in the Milwaukee. Data was working beautifully, but I wasn't getting calls (despite 3-4 bars of reception) and sent texts would occasionally elicit a "The message could not be delivered due to a temporary network setup error," response from some Sprint server somewhere.

Not sure if I should call Sprint Tech Support, Take it to a Sprint Store, or Take it in to Best Buy where she purchased it to have it looked at. I am just worried that if I take it in to a store to get fixed she will be without a phone for a few days while they take their sweet time working on it. Anyone have any experience with Sprint/Best Buy (Geek Squad) Tech Support and know how it works?
Also, I am not against Rooting. Both my Epic 4G and my 3VO were rooted, as well as her Photon, but I was really trying hard to not have to root either of our GS3's. But, perhaps rooting and reflashing back to stock and just not accepting the LI3 OTA will fix the issue?

Forgot to mention, one of our neighbors has an Airave at home and this is where the issues predominantly exist. Could the Airave have something to do with it? Maybe it's not playing nice with the latest LI3 Radio?

I heard that the outage was in the Pacific Northwest. I am on the East Coast (Central NJ to be more specific). And data still works, it just seems to be SMS only that she is having issues with at home.

[Q] Text Message is slow

Good morning everyone and Happy New Year!
Does anyone have issue with Text Message being slow? I'm using the stock Message App come with AT&T. It always take about at least 3 or 4 second to complete the sending (i.e. the spinning circle on every text). No matter how short or long the text is. Especially, group text is very slow. I think it's not the Network issue because I had Note 3 before and never have the issue.

Might do you some good to reprogram your phone. I do not know the number you dial for reprogramming though... Call AT&T or visit a local store.

I don't have issues with slow text messages myself. I have issues with my phone just randomly not getting them until I reboot. Any text messages sent between the time it stopped getting them and I reboot are lost. Not sure what causes it to happen. Happened a few times within a month then went months without happening and then just recently happened again...

Anyone having Text issues today?

Marshmallow Rolled out yesterday, I didnt take it. But friends have and we are all having texting issues today, Not sure if my problem is with just them.. Just wondering if its a sprint thing or regional?

Yes, the activation service was down for a few hours. I believe it is back up now but there were disruptions in text today i noticed.

Looks like the txt is back up. But system is slow.

I cant send mms... it keeps saying multimedia messages not supported by network... anyone else?
