Galaxy s3 stops wireless data transfer - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello. I am experiencing the following issue with my Samsung Galaxy S3 - when I connect to my home router, firstly everything works fine. After 5-10 minutes the phone stops data transfer, I mean I am connected to the router, it does not disconnect, just no data transfer. When I reconnect to the router, it works fine again, but not for a long. I am with original 4.1.1 JellyBean. Can it be from the router's firmware? Any suggestions?

[Q] WiFi connectivity issue

I have been using Note 2 N7100 running 4.1.1 for a week now but only a couple of days ago started experiencing WiFi connectivity issue at home. The problem I have is it would lose Internet connection and then disconnects from my wifi router. When I opened the wifi menu it says my router is not in range. Turned off wifi and then on again and it connected just fine. However, after a while I lose Internet connection again and then router connection as well. In addition, my PC and other mobile devices started having connection issues. So, I restart my router and everything seems to work normal again until I turn on wifi on my Note 2. The problem reoccured again until I decided to turn off wifi on my Note 2 and so far my wifi connection is stable. I did try to use static IP and for a moment it seemed to work fine yesterday but today it messed up again right after I got home and turned on wifi on my Note 2. I also reset my router to factory setting yesterday and I don't want to reset every day.
I remembered that I did a software update at work on my Note 2 two days ago but it's an update from Samsung. I forgot what the update was for. Is there any chance to undo this update just in case it caused the wifi problem but without having to root the phone?
try to add the ip and mac address of your note 2 into the router.

[Q] USB tethering losing connection help

Hi
Well I have the Samsung galaxy nexus on 4.2.1. After i connect using usb tethering 5 min later it losses connection randomly.
I seem to be getting this problem more often now never had it before. My phone screen is set to 10 min before turning off so its like it goes to sleep and I loose the connection. This happens with both wifi and regular data from mobile service.
I'm with Wind Mobile (Canadian company)
The laptop I use is Dell and I have had this problem on all usb ports on it.
Is It my wire??
Is it my wifi/ data connection??
well hope you guys can give me some advise thanks.

Issues connecting Galaxy Watch Active 2

Hi,
I have issues connecting my Galaxy Watch Active 2 to my new OnePlus 7T.
The initial setup and connection works flawlessly but after longer periods with no connection (I switch of bluetooth over night) the phone does not reestablish the connection with the watch.
Even if I open the Samsung companion app on the phone and try to manually connect I get an error message "Couldn't connect to watch..."
Toggling bluetooth has no effect, neither has a phone reboot.
With my Oneplus 6T everything worked like a charm so I don't expect the issue with the watch but rather with the phone.
Any ideas on this?
HI,
It seems your Galaxy Watch refuse to reestablish the connection.
Maybe the watch has connected to another phone. Have you paired it with another phone ?

Question Anyone run into issues with Wireless Android Auto not connecting, "WiFi Disconnected"?

I got my S22 a couple of days ago. Previously, I had a Pixel 5. I bought a Motorola MA1 dongle to use Wireless AA on my car. It worked perfectly with my Pixel 5.
I setup my S22, and while it does connect to the dongle and recognize it as Wireless AA and all, it drops the WiFi connection after a few seconds with a "WiFi Disconnected" toast message near the lower part of the screen. It then repeats the process indefinitely: Connects to the dongle's WiFi, stays for about 5 seconds, drops with WiFi Disconnected message, reconnects to the WiFi...
At first I thought it might be realizing the WiFi connection does not provide any internet, which is right, and switches to mobile due to the "Switch to mobile" option. So I turned that off. Still, same message and no connection.
I've tried setting it up several times but it's always the same error. FYI it works correctly with USB-C wire.
Anyone got any ideas how I could solve this? Maybe some kind of developer network setting to hold on to the WiFi connection a bit longer or something?
Thanks!
Factory reset the MA1. I had a similar issue after migrating from the S10 to the S22 that was only cleared up by resetting the dongle. I'm thinking it's more of an MA1 issue than an S22 issue.

That's through the process of holding the side button for 45 seconds, right? Sadly, I've already done it. No luck...
Solved! Following a reddit comment advice, I factory reset Mazda's infotainment system, as well as the MA1 dongle, and deleted both Mazda's and the MA1 pairings in bluetooth on the cellphone .
Then, did the whole setup again. Error persisted. Connected via wired and was able to establish wired AA connection. Disconnected and tried the dongle again. IT WORKED!
Thanks Tacoo (As a Mexican, I like your username) for your assistance!
