How i can get an adb connection?
The Kindle is in a Boot Loop...

When you say a boot loop, do you mean that it comes up with a red triangle?
If so, have you tried clicking the power button five times to try a factory reset.
If you have rooted, you must have set up the Android sdk and therefore adb. Open a command prompt and try typing adb devices.

how to boot in recovery without using volume button

hello guys
i have a major problem i have installed a corrupted rom and i can't use my phone i need to boot in recovery but my volume button does not work
and my question is how i can boot recovery without using volume buttons
N.B:my phone is turned off
While it is switched on, if it is plugged into a computer, can you see it if you run the command 'adb devices'?
If so, try 'adb reboot recovery'

NOTHING ABOUT MY Problem
As it was mentioned above: with the phone turned off, if you plug the USB cable you should see it with 'adb devices' command. the LED should light (if I remember right in blue). if it does, run the command as mentioned above...
if not... I have no idea. Maybe you can contact with the developer of the ROM...

Yes, but from what I have seen it handles 'normal' scenarios.
Also, from my experience, he was trying to get the straight answer, without the need to read tens of pages...
The picture OP posted shows that either ADB is not installed or that he is trying to run it from an incorrect location. The guide that was posted has explanations for both of those problems.
thanks guys i have solved the problem
i have installed Android SDK
then i wrote in cmd
adb
adb reboot recovery

Kindle Fire 2 Hard Reset?

My Kindle Fire is stuck in a boot loop, is possible make a hard reset?
What did u do to cause bootloop? A factory reset will not fix anything if you messed with the system or system apps.

Your going to need to either buy or make a factory cable so you can get into fastboot mode
Just to confirm, are you using the same PC that you used to Root your Kindle Fire with? In other words, have you used ADB with this PC before? If it is, then a Factory cable is I believe the only way out.
You can try to make one, or I piked one up on eBay for £3 including delivery. I have read of someone destroying one of the pins on their Kindle due to connecting the wrong wires up, so be careful and take your time doing it. Double check everything.
We could do with a step by step guide for recovering a Kindle in a loop, as there doesn't seem to be one and they seem to be getting soft bricked quite often at the minute.
Have anyone Ebay Link for my i want to buy factory cable for my kindle fire 2.
I cant finy any on ebay... ( ebay.de )

[Q] How to revert to STOCK ROM but touch screen nonfunctional!

I have fastboot, ADB, and TWRP installed but I can't flash the stock rom through TWRP because my touch screen won't respond to touch, I'm just trying to send it back to Amazon with factory settings, any ideas? And I do have a factory cable.
Thank You!

This has been an ongoing issue for the whole device, if I hard reset, it will work 1% of the time.

That'd be a neat little trick considering you can't factory reset with ADB (at least not that I've seen). You can wipe cache and data with fastboot, but that doesn't really do anything about the touchscreen problem or the fact that the OP wants to install the stock ROM so it can be sent back for replacement.
With that being said, if someone around here is kind enough, OP, you may be able to get a saved stock system.img to flash in fastboot along with stock versions of the bootloader and recovery. After which, a few simple ADB commands will remove superuser.apk and 'su' so it can be sent back for replacement, if you can't resolve the problem on your own.

[Q] Can I stop an update that has already begun?

Sorry if this is a repost but I couldn't find anything on the subject.
I just got my Kindle Fire (1st gen) today and was toying around with it. It was connected to my wifi and then without prompting me shut off and began updating. I knew that there was no root for it so I turned the kindle off by holding the power button while it was updating. Is there any way for me to disable the update without powering it on the whole way?
It currently has 6.3.2 and I don't want to update to 6.3.3
I am aware that you can root 6.3.3 but from my understanding it requires a factory cable which I currently do not have.
Thank you
Update: I did some more digging and saw that it could be rooted but could not install a custom recovery without a factory cable. My apologies.

I would never shut off any operating system in the middle of an update. It is trouble. I wish you the best, but I think you should be purchasing a factory cable.
Not sure what will happen when you power back on.
Could download kindle fire utility, start run.bat
Connect kindle, to PC, it should power on when connected.
See what happens.
Bad idea to power off in the middle of installing firmware.

Maybe you could push fbmode can't test it my device is so far from stock never going back My point about smirkit is fastboot is not needed it writes bootloader and recovery from a running system. The only prerequisites are superuser or supersu, busybox with .sh working, terminal emulator and smirkit of course.
Neither fbmode nor smirkit work with 6.3.3

Yep it works I just need different commands
my steps
I just did
Step 1: Root the kindle fire
Step 2: Download fbmode
Step 3: Install fbmode by using adb push fbmode /data/local/tmp
Step 4: Set fbmode permissions by using: adb shell chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/fbmode
Step 5: Run these commands here:
Code:
adb shell
su
cd /data/local/tmp
./fbmode
exit
exit
Kindle reboots to fastboot mode
6. downloaded openrecovery-twrp-2.2.2.1-blaze.img and fff-u-boot_v1.5.bin
7. placed in adb folder
8. ran these command in command prompt
Code:
fastboot -i 0x1949 flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.2.2.1-blaze.img
fastboot -i 0x1949 flash bootloader fff-u-boot_v1.5.bin
fastboot -i 0x1949 oem idme bootmode 4000
fastboot -i 0x1949 reboot
9.done
Awesome I'll give this a try. Can you explain how you put those files from step 6 into the adb folder? I'm new to Android so I'm a little confused.

I just use these files adb-fastboot.zip mirrors unzip and move (AdbWinUsbApi.dll, AdbWinApi.dll, adb.exe, fastboot.exe) to a folder in c drive named adb.
Also move fbmode, FFF, and TWRP. Be sure to verify md5 checksums for FFF and TWRP flashing a corrupt Bootloader is bad.
