Here is a modified version of the stock LatinIME keyboard I made for myself. By default, the qwerty layout lets you access the numbers by long-pressing on the top row, but that feature is missing from the dvorak layout. I have edited the layout for dvorak to give access to the numbers from the main screen. This is built from the cm 10.1 repo for the grouper device, but will probably work most devices on most roms based on 4.2.1.

Btw, I tried this out on my galaxy s3 running stock 4.1.X and cm10.1 and it works fine.
Who the hell uses DVORAK?
Apparently enough people use it for it to get included in windows, most linux systems, OSx, AOSP since jellyean, and a bunch of 3rd party android keyboards.

Try 360 launcher
Cyanogenmod Nightlies
Tdj's Demonspeed v10 Kernel
ClockWorkMod Recovery 5.0.2.0
Unless you somehow port Touchwiz to our phones....you can use this CM7 theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021507. Then there's a Touchwiz theme for Go Launcher in the market. It's close but still won't look exactly like it

Or you can flash the ICS ROM by Lord.
Samsung's Touchwiz is pretty similar to ICS. So you may like it.
Please can anyone port the ParanoidAndroid SystemUI tablet style to stock Roms???
See image below...

Why not use the ParanoidAndroid Rom?
Or try JellyBeer that also has this Feature.
Latest Version of JellyBeer is actually Stable.

:good:
Not possible
SystemUI is one single apk which contains both phone and phablet layout. So you can't change between them without changing your whole system dpi.
The other point is that there is no real tablet UI with the one single bottom status and nav bar. You could build a 100 inch tablet, but it would still run the same system UI layout as the nexus 7 or 10. The devs behind PA actually had to re-code the tablet UI to work on 4.2 again.
Is this possible? It would make navigating the note 2 so much easier! In using the XenonHD ROM atm
The only way I know to get the status bar at the bottom is to flash a ROM that had Tablet UI. Such as Paranoid Android, Rootbox, JellyBeer, PacMan, or CarbonRom.
This is mine on RootBox

Luckily I'm able to help you since I just flashed this rom about an hour ago for the first time ever & wen't through the settings.
System Settings>>Hybrid Settings>>*UIMode, Tablet.
-Reboot the phone if the settings don't stick immediately.
If you're running a different launcher i.e. apex, nova etc. it'll also help if you change those to tablet ui as well.
My screen gets all distorted when I go to tablet mode... Anyway to just move the existing status bar to the bottom?
So I have absolutely no clue where the best place is to post this, with the forum being horrendously cluttered with sub categories.
Before Adobe had released Photoshop Touch for Phone I had downloaded a modded tablet version from a thread that presumably has since been locked/deleted. The original tablet app maintaned the original icon and button sizes, making it very cramped on my Note 2's screen. The modded version was fixed so that everything was in scale in relation to the resolution.
Maybe I'm stuck in my ways, but I far more prefer the tablet layout over the phone layout of Photoshop touch. I paid for the phone version as soon as it released to support, but now it would be great to be updated a bit. How could I go about changing this myself?
Here are screenshots of 1.3.0 mod and 1.5.0, respectively:

Is anybody else having issues with the slide left or right to switch apps feature not working on Red Magic 8 pro? I seem to remember it worked for me when I first bought it but at some point it stopped working and hast since. I've been updating regularly and I'm currently on the latest version. (I just noticed that the word application has a typo in the settings )

You're absolutely right. I just switched back to vanilla launcher and confirmed. Vanilla launcher is trrraaaasshh tho. Nova is so much better. I'll deal with it haha
