Status bar at Bottom? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Is this possible? It would make navigating the note 2 so much easier! In using the XenonHD ROM atm

The only way I know to get the status bar at the bottom is to flash a ROM that had Tablet UI. Such as Paranoid Android, Rootbox, JellyBeer, PacMan, or CarbonRom.
This is mine on RootBox

Luckily I'm able to help you since I just flashed this rom about an hour ago for the first time ever & wen't through the settings.
System Settings>>Hybrid Settings>>*UIMode, Tablet.
-Reboot the phone if the settings don't stick immediately.
If you're running a different launcher i.e. apex, nova etc. it'll also help if you change those to tablet ui as well.

My screen gets all distorted when I go to tablet mode... Anyway to just move the existing status bar to the bottom?

(Q) Can't save scenes?

So I just noticed that I am unable to save scenes on my phone anymore. It's not a huge deal since I don't really use them, but it's bugging me knowing that it's not working. I'm running redemptive 2.2 with Viva azul 1.1 and more mods than I can fit on this page. But it was working fine as of a week ago so I know it's neither the rom nor the theme. I've tried wiping data on rosie to no avail. So the question is, what controls scenes? I still have the standard ones listed, but my current one is unsaved. When I hit save I can type whatever I want and hit done on the keyboard, but then I get some kind of default wallpaper with a line through it instead of the losing box, and it just sits on that screen until I hit home or back, but it never saves.
I'm at a loss and don't know where to look for a fix for this. Any ideas?

That is the screen that I see when I hit done.

Why not use the ParanoidAndroid Rom?
Or try JellyBeer that also has this Feature.
Latest Version of JellyBeer is actually Stable.

Not possible
SystemUI is one single apk which contains both phone and phablet layout. So you can't change between them without changing your whole system dpi.
The other point is that there is no real tablet UI with the one single bottom status and nav bar. You could build a 100 inch tablet, but it would still run the same system UI layout as the nexus 7 or 10. The devs behind PA actually had to re-code the tablet UI to work on 4.2 again.

unlock screen to check time.

I reflashed the Stock UAMDL rom and then reflashed TWRP and root. (after trying a few roms and having strange behavior in the Gapps, specifically).
How do I get my screen to unlock and show the time when I swipe my hand over the screen/sensor, when the phone is locked?
It does not seem to work now. All the other hand gestures/eye-gestures works fine, it just do not want to unlock the screen to show the time anymore.
Ideas? Am I missing a setting, somewhere?
Thanks
Go to Settings > Motions and Gestures then click on air gestures and make sure quick glance is on

DUH!!!!
Thank you! I feel like an idiot, after flashing stock twice in a row, thinking it was corrupt or something.
Just wondering why TMO/SAMSUNG turns this off by default.
Again - Thanks
Probably off for default to have better battery life

[Q] Transparent background for the front touch buttons and navigation bar

I didn't think I'd like KitKat's transparent navigation bar and front touch button. But I just got a T-Mobile G2 and installed KitKat on it and I really like the effect. I can't seem to be able to get that effect on my Sprint G2. I do have Settings-Display->Front Touch Buttons->Transparent background checked. But it doesn't work. I have of course rebooted the phone after doing that. AFAIK, there is no option that I set on the T-Mobile phone to set the navigation bar transparent.
Does anyone have their phones looking like the T-Mobile one. And if so, how did you go about doing that? BTW, I even tried it with G2 Xposed and that didn't work either. So I disabled G2 Xposed completely, but with no luck.

It was Nova Launcher!
It was Nova Launcher. I had disabled it on mine. And it's on by default I think. Anyway, it works - but only in the launcher.

Question Bottom Edge Stroke Switch Application feature does not work.

Is anybody else having issues with the slide left or right to switch apps feature not working on Red Magic 8 pro? I seem to remember it worked for me when I first bought it but at some point it stopped working and hast since. I've been updating regularly and I'm currently on the latest version. (I just noticed that the word application has a typo in the settings )
