New CWM - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Has anyone tried out the new 6.0.2.3 CWM? I'm on 6.0.1.4 now and it works fine but was looking for thoughts on those who have flashed the newest version.

Would be willing to bet its the same as the old one with a few behind the scenes updates.

Make a backup first. Always make a backup.
Ya I made a complete backup of my original rom even with bloat I find that sometimes original roms are the most stable

Its either UVALH2 or UVALJ4.
Itll be the latter if you're already updated to LH2.

Not Jellybean.

Good rooting program.

Hey, I just got my galaxy s3 today. I've been searching for a good rooting method but have come across several. My question is what rooting method is safe? I plan to flash stable cm10 after I root.

Chain fire worked for me... no kernel programming, just the root binary is installed.... simple and easy to do via Odin

Clockwork touch???

Anyone know how to get the touch variant??? When. I check on the site is there but loads code. Do I need to do something with that to be able to flash it?

You can flash it directly from Rom Manager

What about manually?? You have to buy the touch through there don't you
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
correct, you have to buy CWM Touch from ROM Manager.
to flash it manually, the CWM website has the img file for you to download. but then somehow you have to turn it into a tar file (i think?) to fastboot install it.
if someone has instructions on making a tar file, this will help me out too. =D
Yeah I've seen plenty doing it was just curious how

Download goo manger and you can install twrp which is touch
