I need some clarification on RC9 and it's functions. I'm on the Sprint version and I'm having problems flashing a Rom that's for RC9. Are there any leads or links out there?

It should work completely fine as long as you flash Kbizzles fix in the thread. What recovery are you using? I use the latest TWRP and I do a factory reset then wipe system then flash the rom, kbizzles fix, then ktoonsez kernel then, next gapps then the lte handoff fix

Just had a thought. It's easy to get stuck on boot when you flash back to stock without wiping.
If you can wipe it/factory reset that could solve you're problem.
And it'll boot up.
It's confusing cause it looks a lot like your phone not booting cause of the kernel
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Yeah just take the battery out and get into android recovery by pressing volume up, power, and home button. Then wipe/factory reset and reboot system.
^^^^ just like the gentleman said. Reboot into recovery and factory reset it. It should boot up after that.

Recovery isn't there, any way I could do it from adb?
Sent from my HTC Ruby using xda app-developers app
If you can get into download mode, reflash the stock tar in Odin again or just flash the cwm or trwp recovery tar and reflash a different kernel
Sent from my SGH-T999
Here is a link to Odin-able recoveries that you can use. I also agree with the others that this is probably a mismatched ROM/Kernel that is preventing you from booting up. The only problem I foresee is that you Odin'd a stock image, so now you are not on CM10 anymore. Now you'll have to find a TW kernel that you can flash, like Morfic's or I think Ktoonez has one too. But you can ADB push the kernel to your SDcard so that when you flash the recovery above, you should be able to then go in and find your kernel and flash that.
What I suggest first is to Odin one of the recoveries (TWRP is what I use) and then once that is done, go in and Factory Reset and try to boot it up. If it works, great. If not, then you may need to move on to pushing a kernel and flashing that.
Volume up + Home + Power takes you to Recovery.
Have you tried that?

Hi!
Okay so I recently flashed Cyanogen Mod and whenever I booted up my phone "com.android.phone" (I think it's the phone app?) would force close once and I'd never see it again unless I rebooted. This only began happening when I switched to Cyanogen Mod from my stock rom, I thought it was because of Cyanogen Mod so I flashed JB-MR1 Build 3 of AOKP (released a few hours ago) however the force closure is still occurring.
Does anyone have any idea of what might be causing this? I have tried clearing my cache, re flashing Cyanogen Mod, yet it still persists.
Any help would be appreciated!

CM 10.1 was released as nightlies for Note 2 LTE (t0lte) and AOKP was released around 4 hours ago for the LTE version.

One thing I didn't do when reflashing roms, was clear dalvik cache, could this be the issue?
I fixed it by reverting back to a backup, however I don't get 4G connectivity now. How can I fix this?

If you flashed the latest Samsung Touchwiz 4.2.2 UVUAMDL stock firmware and replaced
the kernel with a modified or custom one then you are surely going to loose root access
and you will need to re-root the phone.
Good luck!

Generally speaking, flash, clear both caches and reboot. Some say fix permissions also. Either way should work.
Please don't tear me apart if this is the wrong thread...
So I'm currently running CM 10.0 and I'm trying to upgrade (through CWM) to 10.1.2 stable, but I am running into a status 7 error. I have done the following (In no particular order)
-made backup and wiped phone (including cache and dalvik cache)
-flashed the latest bootloader
-double checked MD5 sum and it was a match
-upgraded to most recent CWM
-tried fixing the assertions (as highonandroid suggests)
So what am I doing wrong?

Do a search for status 7
Because you've updated your cwm than your bootloader is out of date.

What do you mean do a search for status 7? I've searched all I can, those were all the solutions I came up with. First I updated CWM, then I fixed the assertions, then I redownloaded it for a clean start and then flashed the latest bootloader, and none of that worked.

Out of date bootloader

You can have an old bootloader and have a newer modem.
Modem is your current baseband.
Here's an example. My bootloader is LK4 which is good for flashing and my modem (baseband) is MF1
Go in terminal emulator and type
su
getprop ro.bootloader
It'll tell you your bootloader if it's different than your baseband
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
And now is where I feel like an idiot...
The bootloader does not match my baseband, so since I am clearly incapable of flashing a new bootloader, can you provide me with a link that would help? Preferably one that could work with mobile Odin since access to a computer is limited for me right now

Use same fresh install method listed in any of my rom threads... I'm not sure about restoring messages I never do it but system data is usually a no no if you have issues with titanium download super su update your binary with the recovery method then go into titanium preferences and click the back up folder location option and change it from sdcard0 to legacy it will ask you if you want to move your back ups say yes then restart titanium and world will be right again
