Hi guys, I'm looking at buy a genuine Samsung battery for my S2. Would this be genuine or fake?

I have bought a battery similar to this one.
The OEM battery says Made In Japan, Finished in China.
This one Says Made in Korea, Finished in China.
From What I read, both are legit (Correct me if I am wrong please)
My Made in Korea Battery Doesnt seem to hold the charge well (although it could be me changing the rom) as my OEM battery.
I would honestly just buy a battery from Samsung just to be safe

Hi guys,
I come from a country where there's SGS, but no captivate...
However, i imported a set of the Captivate from USA.
At the moment, i want to get extra batteries for my captivate...
I'm just not sure if i could directly use a galaxy S battery inside...
Is this possible? coz if it is, i could potentially be saving 30USD shipping to my country.
Regular batteries should be identical, but extended batteries are not.

Actually, there is at least 1 extended battery (1800mah) available that is the same form factor as the OEM battery and fits the Captivate. I have one that I bought off eBay.

dude, i would recommend you to go to ebay and get a cheap battery. Works as good as the original ones.
and it just cost around USD$4
captivate and i9000 models are using the same battery.
Yes, i9000 batteries work great in the captivate as long as they fit within the case. Some extended batteries for the i9000 have replacement backs designed for that phone. They don’t look like they would work with the captivate because it has a different shape from the i9000.
Does anyone know where I can find a genuine oem battery for the gt-i9250. i have searched the internet put have come up with nothing.
If you are going to buy a new one, I really recommend the original Samsung extended battery as it makes a difference in battery time:

would look pretty silly on my white nexus though!
Ah you got a white one. Yeah it would probably look weird. For some reason those extended ones does not seem to be available in white.
found one!
I got mine with a cool portable charger on ebay!
Hello everyone,
I need to replace my battery because it is faulty and I would like to know what you advise me, knowing that I do not want to buy a high capacity battery.
I noticed that there were two models of battery on the Galaxy S2. One of a I9100 (EB-F1A2GBU) and the other on a I9100P (EB-L1A2GBU).
Given that according to the characteristics there is the reference currency.
Should I rather buy the model I9100P ? or something else ? I can buy a battery anywhere if I find a genuine samsung model ? There he was also a notion NFC chip ?
Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your answer.
I'm going to buy the Anker 1900
anker probably the best aftermarket brand you can go for.

i would suggest you this battery i have too is good EB-K1A2EBEGSTD 2000mAh
Original battery by samsung, good price, best results...
I'll recommend Anker 1900mah battery...it lasts longer than stock sammy battery and anker is a reliable 3rd party seller.
I bought the official Samsung battery with the bigger capacity and the bigger backcover. The battery now lasts about 20 hours at frequent use.

Looks real, but I would get a battery with more mah . UK has real stuff. if u r ordering from china/honkong than its fake.
been trying the zerolemon battery from amazon which is 2300 MaH compared to the 2100 Mah that the original samsung battery carries, and it is a big improvement.
Here is the link http://www.amazon.com/Warranty-Zero...&sr=8-2&keywords=zero+lemon+battery+galaxy+s3
Cant beat the price of $8.99 plus $0.69 shipping.

shipping to turkey cost about 10 $.
UK or not UK, almost all batteries sold on eBay are fake. I'd hazard a guess that even a claimed ZeroLemon on eBay is probably not a ZeroLemon, but some Chinese counterfeit - even if shipped from UK.
Then again, in Hungary, I got a fake from a Samsung authorized reseller/service center! They got the batteries from Samsung Hungary in a sealed box with Samsung logo, all genuine ones on top, a mixture of genuine and fake batteries lower down in the box. Someone at Samsung Hungary has been trying to make some additional $$$ (or more like FtFtFt).
I'd recommend you to buy a new battery from an aftermarket company, rather than a Samsung original, because the Samsung original is probably used (even though they might sell it as new).

its fake .. the logo sticker is upside down.
It says "GENUINE 2100mAh BATTERY FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY S3" so if you find out that is not you can ask for money back and still keep the battery

Haha!
To be honest mate, i really doubt the authenticity of those so called original/genuine batteries on ebay.
I have been chatting with many sellers on ebay that claimed OEM Original batteries and I found out that almost every seller calls their batteries Replacement batteries and claims that NFC is not working. So, instead of taking a fake 2100mah, I choose a fake 4300mah!!:good:
They all cheat .....

In the picture you see the battery in RETAIL BOX, but in the description they say (BULK PACKED NO RETAIL BOX)
I bought a new battery like this and after a few days, that battery is worst than my original ... that is really bad .... (No more than 2hrs in use)
There are many sellers of batteries for our note, but I need to know which ones sell batteries that work as well as the original one. If anyone has any experience, good or bad, of buying a replacement battery I would appreciate if you could share your thoughts.
Replacement Part for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 Battery - A Grade
I'm using an OEM replacement battery but I forgot if this one is the supplier & it's awesome
Did you buy your oem battery recently? I'm worried that the batteries that are oem are so old that they have been in storage for so long that they have been damaged by self discharge.
A few months ago & it measured ~6800mAh = still great condition

This is an old thread but I feel that never got a valid response. I'm now with the same doubt.
