Hi
I came across this on one of the other forums on this site, and i thought i would post it here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=686221
I havent looked at it because I'm not a developer and i wouldn't really know what I'm doing. Maybe someone can port some of the apps from it or something, like the social network app
OK I have an LG Optimus LS670 (Rooted)
Before I backdated my firmware and re-rooted this phone I had the internal phone number, imei, all data changed to my own.
I even removed sprints proxy they use through the default browser to my own.
For the life of me I cant seem to find the .apk or app that I used to change this info.....I feel like an idiot I really cant find it anywhere.
Can someone hotlink me to an app or apk to change this info within my phone.....I know its possible I have done it before, just dont remember whee I found it...
Please any help anyone
Going crazy
Thank you thank you
Is there any app to change the IMEI??
This is optimus G (F180 - Korean version, E97* - International version, L01E/LGL21 - Japanese version) forum
LS670 is not optimus G and maybe searching the forum for your model will yield you desired result.
Moreover, this is General board, not Q&A board. Find the right forum and board before posting.
Moreover, choose a more relevant subject line next time, please.
Is there someone who can share the Social+ widget (should be named SNS.apk)?
Looks like it's missing from many European versions of this LG Optimus G...
Here is it: http://www.gsmarena.com/showpic.php...shots/gsmarena_152.jpg&idReview=835&idPage=11

Here's what you asked for
https://www.dropbox.com/s/m5yth48h6bpmzz5/SNS.apk
But I doubt it'll work. Seems like LG has discontinued official support for the app. For more info, you can check out the source
Wait a minute... You aren't the hexaae from here are you?
In that case, the app won't work for you!!!
Yes I am, and it's me who posted that msg indeed (that Social+ is not working)...
We need other versions...
Is there any descriptions about the functions in the service menu?
Unfortunately I don't have the link, but on one of the firmware update threads here on XDA there was a link to a site hosting several firmware versions, as well as a massive 75mb pdf file containing the internal service manual for the G3 with full descriptions of every single component and also a full guide to the internal service menu. I'm sure if you google you'll find it.

I'm interested in this service manual as well, but can't seem to find it anywhere.
I've tried Google and XDA search and found several firmware threads, but nothing on that PDF nor on any of the hosting sites.
I'm not sure if it's been removed or other, but if you have it on hand or know where, I would greatly appreciate it if you could link it or other. :fingers-crossed:
The only searches I could find were to a lgbbs.net site that has all the service menu files for each variant, but they want $100 each to download them....

Thank you a bagillion times! :victory:
Is the service manual the same for all variants? Or are there some changes for each carrier's variants? I assume so, most likely due to carrier networks and all, but I'm wondering more so with hardware side and other settings.

Glad I could help Unfortunately I don't have any further info on the file itself, but it seems pretty comprehensive. I'd venture to guess that the carrier variants merely have cosmetic differences, apart from the obvious 16/32GB distinction. In any event, the manual is comprehensive enough to give you an idea of what the bloody hell is going on inside this fantastic little device
Thank yous for the guide I really needed this!

Is there a standard set of changes necessary to make a D850 ROM compatible with the D852? Can someone share this magic sauce so that the peons may partake of it?
Basically as a lot of people (well, *Canadians*) seem to have said, the D850 and D852 are essentially the same hardware with different serial numbers. So why can't you just load a D850 ROM directly? It this a change anyone can make themselves for any ROM; edit a configuration file or hex-edit some standard address?
I am really frustrated by this as well. We always get the short end of the stick here in Canada.
Looks like Cuzz is making some progress in the Canada thread.
A simple search on XDA will give you plenty of tutorials on how to do so. Such as this

You could always ask the guy who built CloudyG3...
As for the previous post... Not that helpful.
