Hey guys been lurking for a while now finally joined. I rooted my phone close to a year ago now I'm running the AOSP JB ROM but I cant figured out how to set my photos to go to my SD card because I'm running low on internal storage. Sorry mods if this in the wrong section and I hope I don't get flamed lol. TIA

Store location is where you will choose external or internal unless you mean tag location which adds gps data to the photo exif

Okay I got home and checked and neither of the apps I told you allow you to do what I was saying. But I know I've seen it somewhere and I remember people talking about it. If you're truly interested in changing your default storage device to your ext sd I suggest you search xda. A much easier method to do what you're trying to do would be to find a camera app that will allow you to change the file destination. Good luck! I'm headed to bed, and sorry again for leading you in the wrong direction numerous times!

You guys think its possible to create a mod that enables quick reply for messages in the form of expandable notification?
So basically expand the message notification and reply straight from the notification bar by expanding it?
Would be awesome if it can be implemented.

this is the main reason im considering going over to cm10. because i would love to have a quick reply in the notification bar.
i read a dev saying that it would be impossible because of some framework limitations unfortunately. lets hope he doesent know what he is talking about and someone can do it
Yeah true, expandable notifications on my Galaxy S 3 are so crap compared to the ones on my Galaxy Nexus. More fluid and dynamic.

I managed to get the CM10 quick reply working on the Samsung jellybean roms. All you have to do is extract the MMS.apk from the CM10 roms, copy it over to your system/app folder and set permissions to match the rest of the system apps.
I also renamed the Secmms.apk to Secmms.apk.bak then restarted the phone. It works perfectly.

Can you offer some more info like what Rom you are running etc?
My first suggestion is to do a full wipe and re-install the ROM. Most "quirky" errors are resolved by doing a full wipe and re-install.
Format the internal sd card and flash back to stock with odin. I had the same thing happen to me when I used that app2sd script

Some zip archive files as well as any cwm backups you may have will not show up on the internal storage reports. To get a good picture of your actual storage usage and available disk space you need disk storage analyzer app - I have seen a couple people here recommend one from the play store, I don't remember which it was though.
You can search for one or maybe someone who knows of a good one will pop in and say.

I am so sorry. Phone is 100% stock AT&T 4.0.4 not rooted or anything. I'm sorry if this stuff seems elementary, but I came from a iPhone and I did mod and jailbreak and all that to it so I know my way around apple products but this phone has been a little bit of a learning curve. I just got sick of apples subpar hardware... So I moved to android.

Ok I can accept that. But what is really the free space? It shows 12.05gb of space. I know the OS and other system type stuff is taking the other 4gb that would total the 16 of the phone. But even the math of the doesn't add up in settings/storage.

The system partitions aren't represented in the storage manager. Reason being: you can't change it. It's only showing what you have available for apps and your own files.
No ROM I've seen will show the "full" storage.

Look for the Samsung folder. Not sure why samsung did it this way but they grouped a few other apps like the tmobile ones.

I believe that's where the mystery lies. I know from experience not to click on any Samsung apps when I first setup any Samsung phones. By the looks of it, those apps were never downloaded because when I clicked on Samsung Apps app that it ask me to accept and always click "decline". So I don't have the Knox app, Bloomberg, etc.

Update: rebooted and I now have Samsung folder which contains Knox(shortcut) and Watch On and Bloomberg.
I turned them off so "thank you". I believe those can always be frozen in Titanium.

Cool. Ya they can be frozen with titanium but this method is for non rooted.

That's good then. I kept getting it every few hours I use my phone.

Are you still getting the pop up after turning off those apps? If not then that's great.

It's been almost 2 hours and been editing my post and texting and so far it hasn't shown up. Crossing my fingers still.
I've also haven't seen my stock mail app saying "invalid pasword". Might be just a coincidence but I'll find out in a few days.
Update: I guess this method doesn't disable the pop up and fix the invalid password in email. Just got both of them again after turning off wifi.

Just wanted to let everyone know what this does. There are 3 different knox applications in applications settings & only 1 in the app drawer. When you try turning them off in the application settings only 1 is able to be turned off not the other 2 actual phone security functions that are not in the app drawer. So when you open up the samsung apps folder and drag & drop the knox app in the disable app function on the statusbar, all your doing is turning off the samsung app that can already be turned off in the application settings menu. Its not turning off the knox security functions, all that gets turned off is the app that allows you to download the actual app that lets you enter a personal password to use your phone as a personal phone & business phone at the same time.

Thanks. A bit misleading when you disable it and it says will disable knox and all features related to it. I will update the post.
