Hey guys,
I tried to find a thread about my question, but couldn't find a convenient one.
How can I reset my LT18i to complete stock setup? Including ROM, Kernel and Baseband? Maybe unroot it too.
A further question as an alternative for me..
What is the best Kernel to use in CM7? I'm currently on 2.6.32.9-FXP, but games tend to lag, battery unloads very quick. I have to reload the battery at least every night.
Thanks in advice.

Pretty basic kernel. Nothing special.
Try Doomlord CM7 kernel instead!

okay. I tried doomkernel v22 now, flashed it and installed the modules. but after rebooting the touchscreen doesn't work in CM7 and I got no service. however, the touchscreen works in bootloader/CWM
i'm using CM7 FXP130, baseband 72
I flashed the kernel via fastboot to replace the actual FXP kernel.

1. You can't use Doomlords Gingerbread kernel on CM7! This one is the correct one -> Doomlord CM7-kernel
2. And baseband 72 is not for 2.3.x based ROMs..

You will be able to get higher than 2000 with this kernal easily. The thing is though, I don't think you can flash back to froyo after going to GB, or atleast I can't.
this is for GB? Wish it would of stated it in the op. Where can I find a Oc kernel for froyo with this kind of potential?

I didn't back up the stock rom. If it messes up just remove the battery, go into recovery, flash back to what you were using before.
Using Aokplay ROM ICS for a few days and while I like it,the battery drains quickly and most games don't work.
Planning on switching back to GB (last rom was TEAM Stock) was using a locked bootloader then but now it is unlocked, what are some good ROMs to use?
Thanks for the help

All gingerbread roms are stock 2.3.4 with the developers theme and a few tweaks/scripts already installed. Most roms won't affect battery life, what you need to do is install a custom kernel i.e. doomlords which will give you a performance and battery boost.
EDIT- Also some apps may have been added/removed.

build #3003 is the best atm:
http://icxperia.com/doomlord/play/dk-13/PLAY-GSM-DooMKernel-v13-3013_boot.img
Spent a couple days on TrueAncestor and it's fine but the battery life drains a little bit than stock
I liked JokaWild 3.0 with DoomKernal 3013.
First, I know I know how to download kernels.
- CyanogenMod exclusive kernel (CM7,CM9,CM10)
- LuPus kernel (GB,JB)
And I flashed kinds of kernel like above.
But.. I don't know the way to download DommKernel.
I use AtomicRom GB.
Actually, JB Roms had clumsy perfomances...
So, I went back 4.0.2.A.0.79 rom.
But how??
It had too...
So I was looking for new GB Roms.
And I was recommended the AtomicRom.
It's really really really GOOOOOOOD!!!!!
As a matter of fact... I didn't watch perfomences.
The Theme & Launcher & Lockscreen were wonderful. (for just me...)
By the way, I flashed Atomic Rom GB with LuPus GB kernel.
LuPus kernel has huge probelm....
It can't turn of WiFi.
Clearly it is existent to fix it,
but I just flash DoomKernel.
Because I was recommended it with Atomic Rom.
And so I found thread about the DoomKernel.
But how..?
I could download WiFi module.
But actually I can't DoomKernel file.
The link in the thread is connected odd site?
I think the site like Mediafire,zippyshare,******* or 4shared ..?
But there is Contact Support?
I don't know how to download the DoomKernel.
Please help me.
doomkernel is already old. N the link already missing. if u need i can upload it for you.

As new comer, so this stupid? question comes to general
Is it possible to make ultimate kernel that work on any ROM stage???
(GB, ICS, CM 10.1)
I mean that we can switch easilly between all ROM in SD card
Lupus has done with it, but miss CM10.1 one :silly:

Itcan be done but with various patches in ramdisk (but not everything woring 100%). I had a kernel on my PLAY for GB ICS and JB but compared to say a GB specific kernel or ICS specific kernel performance decreased.
So to anwser the OP's question. Yes its possible but using a specific kernel for that specific android is much better.

I could but WiFi wont work and not sure about anything else. I will not attempt to do anything like this without a mogami device without owning one. I was meant to be getting one soon but donator moved to a new device and unfortunately sold his old device to family member instead

Hey guyz, is there any kernel which works for both ics and gb.

Thanks
If I remember correctly, newest ICS Lupus (v15 or v16) can boot both ICS and GB.

I don't have the phone at hand right now, being used as temporary backup phone by a relative.
Just try it yourself. You can't really mess up anything. ICS boots definitely on that kernel, GB should, but if it doesn't, you can just flash another kernel/ROM or even stock firmware.

The thing is m not having PC availability, I have to request to my faculty for system access but only for 5-10 mins. So I can't test in that time, cause I can't stay to ics cause of its performance for long time. otherwise I wouldn't have posted this thread if I had PC.

Seems to be lupus v14. In the sticky thread for roms/root/kernels/mods etc. in arc development section (post 3, gb kernels) it's mentioned. I looked into lupus thread and in the changelog for older releases you see v14 that should boot up on ics, cm9 and gb. But I didn't test it myself
Cheers!
Lupus is ics+gb kernel (latest version) u can use both of the firmware and its based roms with this kernel.[emoji3]
So i confirm here that lupus is two in one kernel. Thanks for your response guys.
