Hello,
I have several problems with my Note2
The main problem with the USB connection of the device, the device is not recognized. (See picture)
Also have another Note2 and because it works with the USB detection on PC
The second problem: I flashed one Note2Core OC kernel and now when I want to flash back original Rome, I have the following problem-
After a few minutes going off the phone and I can not see anything. then I have to remove battery and restart again
And the keyboard is not seen when I want to type anything
And this happens when I flash the original Rom.
Only when I re-install the custom kernel works only the device again
I hope you can help me ..
and I hope I did not fail thread.
thank you all

Yesterday plugged in Note 2 on laptop and Kies requested an update (16th of feb)....so I told kies to go ahead...
YAY...update for my phone...waited...rebooted...
and now...
- lag city..i mean slow
- turns on screen and refuses to go sleep when idle 30 seconds passes.
- after a couple of fights with itself to turn off screen it finally shuts down...and refuses to power up
- holding 10 seconds power button finally resolves this and it turns back on.
- windows detects my phone as 7 cdc devices and I don't have the drivers for it!
- phone freezes completely even when phone is off and recharging (With that battery icon)
so...this being seen...I got back my original rom and flashed it back to good old 4.1.1.... but...no problems are solved ever since I did the 4.1.2 update.
phone works but problematic.
anyone having this issue?
or seen this?
Please download this app and tell me what it says.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.vinagre.android.emmc_check
If it says "NOTE II SUDDEN DEATH? - Yes insane chip" go back to 4.1.2 as fast as you can.
If it's a SANE chip, ignore the above statement. Have you tried factory resetting the phone after the update? It could help with the lagginess, as it could be some stray app with some corrupted data clogging up the system resources. Hard to pinpoint why or what but a factory reset should fix it if it's app related.
Cheers

Phone works. So it means it's not sds issue.

Hey,
I am using my Note-2 (GT-N7100).
Few days before i have installed a rom.
Later on,I wanted to unroot my Device to original Firmware.
I used odin and original firmware file to restore...
After my cell got restored, I am not able to make calls or use my net pack.
When I dial a number, it shows " Not registered on network"
Hoping for fixes and solutions asap..

Use ariza patch, give Wi-Fi access to your phone. It will download patch files, and reboot. Your phone will work normally.

Not that I'm aware of. Do you have custom recovery now? I.e. twrp or cwm? If so you can download a pre rooted rom with the phone if not good luck avoiding the computer... is there a reason why you are unable to use your phone and laptop together? Perhaps we can devise a solution to help.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Do you have any warranty left? Rooting or installing non-official Samsung ROMs will trip the Knox counter, assuming stock AT&T 4.3.
Either you have a bad cord or USB port, or you need to install the Samsung USB drivers.
If you need root, you're not going to get around using a computer.

Theramsey's question of custom recovery is important.
There is a recovey flashable solution for our phones at http://www.epiccm.org/2012/06/team-epics-root-from-recovery.html?m=1
You can copy any files you need to a microSD card also to get them onto your phone.
---------- Post added at 02:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:14 PM ----------
But if you got 4.3 OTA & you do not want to lose warranty, be careful. Custom recovery might have already broken warranty.

Read Chainfire's instructions for Auto Root. You can copy any files you need to a microSD card also to get them onto your phone.

WHAT??
I think that they are looking to root, and are not already rooted.
How is mobile odin going to be used to flash CF-Auto Root to root when the phone needs to already be rooted to use Mobile Odin? Mobile Odin is a rooted app.
And what good is putting the files on microsd when you still need a computer, in this case which will not connect, and odin to flash?
Those files in that zip are not for flashing from the microsd. One is the desktop Odin, one is the .tar file which you need the desktop Odin, and the other is the desktop configuration file for Odin.

It sounds like you have a bad USB port on your phone.
Thank you for catching my mistake about the CF-Auto..zip. It only delivers an Odin package. CF's instructions clarify it's use for fist time stock rooting, but that won't help with OP's problem.
I posted a recovery flash alternative in my correction Copying files to microSD via a built in PC card reader is a workaround for bad USB cables and PC usb ports that would apply here.
I have a sprint Samsung galaxy note 2. I was running cm 11 4.4.2 for a long time. I recently tried to flash some new 4.3 mk4 rims like venom ice and smoothest note2 note 3 rom but every time i do i loose Wi Fi. I have tried the Wi Fi fix with Oden but it never sees the file on my computer. When when i click on pda and goto the folder i saved it to it doesn't show it i am using Odin 3 v1.85 i have tried older ones and they will download but Wi Fi still won't come on. If anybody can help me out maybe a step by step process or help find the right band base for mk4 it would be very helpful .
thanks
Make sure that the file is not zipped (i think it is). Then it will flash properly in odin.

That's exactly what the problem is. I remember that you DO have to unzip the wifi fix file THEN it can be flashed within ODIN on your PC.
