I dont think all regions supports the same HBoot to run JB..!! some regions can run JB at 1.33 also..!!
Hboots are region relative, what is your cid?

Dear, I have already upgraded it to JB. CID__621. Now, since i have been reading about hboot 1.39; i asked below questions:
1) Is it possible to upgrade hboot 1.33 to hboot 1.39?

Becoz what i am getting is that with the new base i.e. ".31", i read that 1.39 hboot will perform better. Is 1.39 the same usual update from ICS to JB like 1.31,1.33,1.36 or is it the whole new base for all (1.31,1.33,1.36).
You mean HTC__621, right?
According to this thread, you are stuck at 1.33 for now.

Why would you update your hboot version if "everything works perfectly"? Other than that, I think hboot 1.36 is not available for your CID version yet.

So, I purchased my HOX on craigslist and the hboot was already upgraded to 1.23 (it was running ARHD v15.0). I know some of the downsides to upgrading your hboot (e.g., cannot flash AOSP JB roms without a special boot.img), but now that I'm already upgraded to 1.23, can anybody see any further downsides to going ahead and upgrading further to 1.36 (I have cid HTC_0.23) so at least I can flash the JB Sense roms?

I think there is no downside, hboot 1.23 is a non official test hboot, the 1.36 is final, so it should be better.

Hello, does this device use the same firmware as one s? If yes can you install official cm 11 on 2.16 hboot? Because on one s you can only install it on hboot 2.15

No, it does not. These are two different devices, and flashing firmware from one to another will not work.
No I don't want to do that but just want to know do you people have same firmware version on one x 2.16?

no on ONE X the higest HBOOT is depend of the region but the high HBOOT is 1.73, 1.72
Because One S has hboot 2.15 but if you wan't to run sense 5 you need to upgrade to hboot 2.16 and if you have hboot 2.16 you can't install cyanogenmod so I thought there's a same situation for One X

No we can run CM with any HBOOT higher then 1.36

What do you have actually ? A s-off device with hboot 1.73 or that ^^
You need at least a hboot 1.36/1.39 for that rom....things about ruu's are already described in your precious threads.
So get the hboot up, flash a custom recovery and install the rom, how to is described everywhere around in tuts and stickies.....probably even in the OP of the rom thread !

when i flash this rom RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.17.401.2_Radio_2.1204.135.20_release_274900_signed.exe
my hboot 1.73 change to 1.12 and cant back to 1.73 i dont have this img
Then download the 3.14.401.31 and install it. You will get hboot 1.39

No JB ruu are the latest ones and even of those are a few available. International is the queadcore Hox, the other is the HTC one xl dual core but both marked as HTC one X

I have an International One x running hboot 1.31, version-main: 3.14.401.619. CID is HTC__J15, S_ON I used the tool JBFWTOOL21 a couple of years ago to get to that point.
I now want to update hboot to 1.39 (or later) so i can flash more recent ROMs, but cant seem to do so. All RUU's i have tried fail because the ver is 3.14.401.619. Also JBFWTOOL21 only will flash 1.31 due to my CID.
Please any methods our there

I upgraded HBOOT and then was able to install the Lollipop ROM. Took ages to find the right HBOOT firmware

I don't think there is a 1.39 HBOOT for for your CID. My information is 1.33 is the the latest for HTC__621
