and my cid htc_621
how can i change it
What do you have actually ? A s-off device with hboot 1.73 or that ^^
You need at least a hboot 1.36/1.39 for that rom....things about ruu's are already described in your precious threads.
So get the hboot up, flash a custom recovery and install the rom, how to is described everywhere around in tuts and stickies.....probably even in the OP of the rom thread !

when i flash this rom RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.17.401.2_Radio_2.1204.135.20_release_274900_signed.exe
my hboot 1.73 change to 1.12 and cant back to 1.73 i dont have this img
Then download the 3.14.401.31 and install it. You will get hboot 1.39

i cant update to 3.14.401.31 give me error 159
my phone accept this rom only RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.17.401.2_Radio_2.1204.135.20_release_274900_signed.exev
beacuse iam still in it
Then look for the placeholder thread for firmwares and flash that !
Or install any other 3.14 ruu.

No JB ruu are the latest ones and even of those are a few available. International is the queadcore Hox, the other is the HTC one xl dual core but both marked as HTC one X

.....you had 1.73, now 1.33 you can up and downgrade to any hboot/firmware you want as been explained in your other thread !

but now i forget 1.73 and dont have firmware to it if ur see its better than 1.33 and 1.39

Why would you update your hboot version if "everything works perfectly"? Other than that, I think hboot 1.36 is not available for your CID version yet.

In firmware topic I found hboot 1.36 for cidnum: VODAP001, but I want to flash 1.39.
If I get hboot 1.39 for other cidnum and change android-info.txt to mach my device is it going to work or it will brick it?

After flashing Sense 5 all sensors stop working, except proxymity.
RUU do not help, calibrating in safe mode also, lived the phone to completely disscharge also.
Flashing any custom rom do not help.
You can only reflash the 1.36 hboot/ruu....if it's not working on stock there is nothing you can do. Software won't fix it then...

I am using firmware from this link also, but I get error for bootloader and can't finish the install.
It is Relocked.
You can only flash a firmware that is ment for your phone not a different one. If the firmware fails the first time reflash it directly again.
Did you reboot to RUU mode before flashing the firmware.zip ?
And after that you have to reinstall a rom

How can i do a Hboot Upgrade? I have Hboot version 1.39 and I want to have Hboot 1.72. Is a Hboot update dangerous to brick anything? What must I do to brick nothing?

Don't update ....all roms run on 1.39 and there is no way back to 1.39. Wait as long as you can with a bootloader update is my advice

i have 1.36 and i want to go to 1,39, better?
mwah a bit, but i still don't see the advantage. really mate take my word for it......don't upgrade it now.
I've already upgade my hboot from 1.36 to 1.72, not all rom can run with this hboot... Now i cant downgrade back to 1.36, Ive try it once... My advice, same as Mr Hofs, dont update..

Installation aborts right.....that's because of the missing bootloader line with your hboot number in the updater script file of the aroma installer.
All recent roms work on your hboot mate

yep, same here. I actually added that line in mike's ARHD to make it work. mine came with 1.72, so naturally, I have to do this.
my htc one x has the cid bstar301, never actually took the upgrade to android 4.2.2 so I had to go to the cooked rom, but would like to update the firmware as there is no such upgrade, I can not update the firmware, any solution to upgrade my firmware on my htc one x with cid bstar301???

Then dont bother to much on updates. A custom rom will give you so much more than a stock ! You dont need to upgrade anyway ..... all roms work on your phone !

I have an International One x running hboot 1.31, version-main: 3.14.401.619. CID is HTC__J15, S_ON I used the tool JBFWTOOL21 a couple of years ago to get to that point.
I now want to update hboot to 1.39 (or later) so i can flash more recent ROMs, but cant seem to do so. All RUU's i have tried fail because the ver is 3.14.401.619. Also JBFWTOOL21 only will flash 1.31 due to my CID.
Please any methods our there

I upgraded HBOOT and then was able to install the Lollipop ROM. Took ages to find the right HBOOT firmware
Do you need some instructions?

Thank you, where can I download the HBOOT? My phone's CID is HTC__621, hboot 1.33
I don't think there is a 1.39 HBOOT for for your CID. My information is 1.33 is the the latest for HTC__621
