ROM with Best Battery Life (Post Your Experiences) - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hello,
I'm looking for the most stable ROM with the Best Battery Life.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Tell me what you use that gives you the best battery life!
.
Thanks

try them all out, find which one your device likes best. every device is diffetent and reacts differently with different roms. there is no "best". i have a feeling that you will want to try different kernels too, since thats whatll play a role in battery life. start experimenting. for my device, its rasbean jelly rom with the trinity kernel.

its the kernel that has a more significancy when it comes to battery life.

Best custom rom for battery management

I was wondering which rom out of the many available - is best in terms of battery life?? I didn't really want to start a whole new thread .. but i am looking for those here who have flashed most of the custom desire roms on XDA, I need a rom that manages battery better then most.

I'm pretty sure that you are going to have lots of answers. Unfortunately, each one, talking about one rom or the other will tell you that its rom is better that others.
I'm running a ROM developped by a single developper (Itanium 1.8 today) and the battery life is pretty good. Undervolt mod is included, several optimizations have been made for battery usage, but again, I'm pretty sure Cyanogen and OpenDesire (these are examples, not the only ROMs working fine I guess) are good at saving baterry life...
So I would say it's hard to tell, and the best advice would be for you to test several of these and find the one which best suits your needs... You might end with a ROM which might give you less battery life, but which would looks better for you and for your usage (Sense based, without Sense...).
Hope this makes sense.

thanks for the info bro I hope others will also post a comment. Although, as you said - opinions will dither, it will still be good to get an overall opinion from many XDA desire users.

Best battery kernel for CM9 ?

I am back to CM9, trying out the official Weekly's, just had too many issues on the various CM10 ROM's to use as a daily for now. I appreciate all the tough work the dev's are doing on CM10 for the One X right now, and with their blood and sweat it will surely be bad ass, and perfect in time, but I need stability and battery life first, so CM9 it is for now. I know a Sense based ROM would give the best battery and stability, but YUCK, can't stand the look and feel Sense or any UI besides good ol vanilla Android
Which kernel would you recommend best for battery life on stock CM9 ? And what setting ? OnDemand or Interactive ?
Or is the stock kernel from the 0923 Weekly the best ?
Thank you

Alright. There are sooo many ways you can extend your battery life. But really if your looking for the best rom/kernel, you would really have to read the threads of the specific rom. Really, the only way to find this out if to try new roms or find another person that has tested every single rom (highly unlikely as you might know) and go forth from there. There is always adjusting your voltage if your extreme.

There is no correct answer to this. Different folks have different setups that work for them. It is all experimentation on your part.
Run something like Better Battery Stats and figure out what is draining your battery. Then figure out ways to conserve that battery.

[Q]Best ROM&Kernel Combination for Battery Life+Smothness

Firstable, excuse my english, Costarican here haha,
Well i think i dont need to explain a lot my question over here, so, whats the best rom/Kernel combination to get the best battery life and fluid OS?
Right now am with PA 4.6 b3, and fancy kernel, but my battery drains in like 2 hours and its laggy as hell, lots of wakelock etc...
Thanks!
There is no best rom or kernel. Just try all combinations and choose what is best for you. (For me is: vanir+fancy r60)
Well, I tried a lot of 4.4 ROMs, but I had a lot of problems. So I decided to return to stock 4.3, with Fancy Kernel r56 (or newer). Now I am with Mpokang, it seems smoother and gives more avaiable RAM. But, if you want the best combination, you have to try by yourself and read other users reviews to get a point if you are not 100% convinced.
