2 different agendas on GS3 ? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Hi All,
I understand one may install 2 different agenda apps on GS3. However, i would like 1 agenda for work and 1 agenda for personal use. Would also like to share my work agenda with others.
Is it possible to run and update 2 different agenda on GS3?
Thank You,
AJ

x2...Could you not use two Google accounts?

2 Google Accounts is the answer.

2 different google accounts or 2 user accounts the same phone depending on the extent to which you need to share your work
2 google accounts would most likely be easier

Can make different calendars on same google account and share with whomever you like. That is what I do. I have once calendar shared with personal contacts and the other shared with work. This is accomplished by using Groups or Circles.

Google calendar settings?

Is there a setting I need to check to ensure my notifications get saved or backed up to Google? I've been flashing for a while and the newer ones don't seem to be sticking when I flash a new rom. Thanks for any help given

Just make sure your adding the events to google calendar and not a local one. Also make sure it's set to Sync in the account settings, other than that you should be good. I've never had any problems with mine and I use 3 different calendars 2 of which are shared and I flash a different ROM every 2-3 days at least..

[Q] Is there any JB Rom that can successfully sync Facebook contact numbers?

Hi there, Facebook syncing is a feature that I miss from a custom ICS rom I used to have. I read somewhere that there might be JB Roms that support this feature but I haven't been able to find one, so before I give up I want ask you directly.
Now before you answer make sure to read this, what I am truly looking for are the numbers and not anything else, so please don't redirect me to HaxSync or FriendCaster because I don't care about high-res pictures or calendar events. If there is a third party app that can sync numbers i'll happily take it. If there really is no way to workaround this issue then, oh well. Thanks for your time guys.
Maybe Haxsync will work

geez
There is a workaround to just copy & replace ur contactproviders.apk
I have used it on a jb rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35867380
It enables u to sync contacts with pics. No calendar though
Make sure to backup orig file. Replace. Set permissions. Reboot. Clear fb, contacts cache. Reboot. U do have to manually join.
But for now m happy w/o getting any extra app can sync

Working on BlackBean, just hit sync on Facebook app... all my contacts and numbers are in People

[Q] android.process.acore unexpectedly stopped

I keep getting this error, specifically when using Go Messenger's contact link.
I've tried clearing my contacts data, calendar but nothing.
Can someone help? Thanks.
Uncheck sync contacts in FB. If that stops the error, then it may point to the fact that one of your Friends has a birthday of 2-29. Have seen some off site topics that the date is screwing with contacts being synced with FB..

I have actually tried that and checked all bdays from my Google Contacts and no one I know has that birthday. I've checked other sites and its all on HTC phones. I'm not sure if maybe its Google Calendar itself. I guess I'll try that next. Thanks!

Is there any way to install HTC Mail app on Nexus ?

So, is there any way we can install the HTC mail app on our Galaxy Nexus ? I love that mail client and i would use it on my nexus also.
I guess it requires htc sense framework, so most probably no.
If this is not possible, what is the best mail client ? The default one is horrible
K9 was a really popular one last time I needed an alternative to stock

Mail clients on Android are pretty terrible. You've either got the choice of equally bad open source clients like K-9, or ad-ridden clients like Aqua Mail or Maildroid that require a payment to get the pro version.
I stick to the default mail client because it works fine for me despite being kinda crappy.
Everything is crap. Only the HTC one was ok for me... Isnt there any way to port it ?

if you port the framework for sense, yes. otherwise i would guess no
What's wrong with the nexus default? I use both accounts and constantly get mail almost every minute on of them. Gmail is the one pissed about, its slow and unreliable most times.

The HTC one has some excellent features which you just don't get on the defaut client, like the ability to see all emails from all folders and all accounts in one pot.. That would be the main selling point for me!, is there a paid for client that can do that?

I have been using Touchdown to access my official mails (exchange server). Feature wise I think this is the best mail client on android but UI can be better.

Thanks Zepius but this doesn't let you view all emails from all selected folders, it only combines the inboxes from two or more accounts.

Gmail 5.0 anyone?

Has anyone upgraded (via the store) to Gmail 5.0? It's supposed to be rolling out now, I haven't got it yet. But I'm excited to be able to run exchange and Gmail through a single client.
I got it!! Looks amazing its like Inbox but without all the extra BS

It is great, I love it. I never got to use Inbox because my "gmail" is actually my domain with Google apps so I don't really know how inbox is. This new update to gmail is fabulous, looks great, works amazingly well. Love it. Can't way until most apps are utilizing material design...

It's goddamn email? How exciting can it be?
Unless it's giving you and your wife blowjobs...
You need an invite. I'M WAITING FOR ONE to try it out.

You only need an invite for Inbox. I really like the GMail update, but Inbox is a new paradigm that matches the way I wanted to use Gmail...so for me I prefer it.

No BJ here from it but I do like it and the new layout thus far.
I am still on 4.9. :/
The new Gmail does support exchange right?
I got an Inbox invite today. Downloaded it, and no exchange support. So I'm not sure I'm going to give it a lot of time for now.
Not really a huge Inbox fan. I love that Gmail added exchange supprt, but the way you switch account is cumbersome.

I'd like to know how this is done as well. I side loaded Gmail 5 and I still only see option to add a Pop/Imap mailbox. I haven't seen any reference to Exchange.

Yea, after I posted I did some searching and found it.
If anyone has a invite to spare I'd like one. ...just saying, pm me and I'll give you email Tia
Only real issue now is (maybe I'm just missing it) that I don't see a "combined" inbox with all accounts lumped together like Samsung' email client does.

Yup. that is my biggest issue as well. I hope they update it soon. It's a big phone to be crawling up to the top of the screen in order to select a different account. A combined inbox would be ideal, but i would settle with all the accounts listed in the pull out menu rather than just the current box.
