ok my question is this,
I am trading up an old iPhone 4s for a T-Mobile Galaxy Note II, is it possable to debrand or install AT&T rom on this phone to make it an AT&T phone?
or any kind of work around to get it running on AT&T LTE network
let me know
Thanks
P.S. i do not have the phone in hand yet so i am asking if it is worth the trade

I know the tmobile note 2 is capable of lte but.it's not enabled in the default firmware, and I'm not sure if the frequencies will be the same as tmo hasn't even started rolling out their lte. My guess is it's the same hardware, but I would do as much searching as possible before doing the trade. If it's possible, I'm sure someone here at xda will get it working if it's possible, but it hasn't been out long enough for any definitive info. (At least nothing I've seen)

It should run on the AT&T HSPA+ (3.5G) network with no problems (as long as it's carrier/SIM unlocked) as the phone should have the 850/1900 GSM bands that AT&T uses. I'm not sure about LTE...but I don't think it will work.

I have been using Straight Talk on my note for a while now and I wanted to get LTE. I bought a new sim card for the LTE and put the APN settings in but it is only working on HSPA+. Under preferred network mode it says WCDMA preferred which I think may be the issue but I can't change it, when I try to it reverts back. It may have something to do with Cyanogenmod 10.2. any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Which Note 2 do you have? Not all the Note 2 have the LTE band so if it doesn't have the LTE radio, you won't get LTE (eg 7100 model). Also, the ROM you have should have the LTE enabled in it.
Thanks for the help, somehow I got it to work.
OK so I have a Galaxy Grand Prime (locked to Cricket) that gets 3+ bars LTE at my home. I recently got an AT&T (locked to AT&T) Galaxy S3 (I747) off of eBay to use on Cricket. Since both AT&T and Cricket both use AT&T's LTE network I expected it to work without a problem. However when I put the Cricket SIM in the S3 I can only get 2G EDGE network. I have tried different APNs, network modes, even a couple custom roms. I have no idea what the problem might be.
Any help would be much appreciated
What bootloader and modem are on the phone? Not sure if either of those things will keep you on edge.
Hi i hope someone could help me.. I got a samsung s3 from at&t from my aunt and i got it unlocked to work on other sims, but it is stuck at Edge and couldnt go lte.. Can any help me fix this.
Hello, I have a i9195 S4 Mini that I purchased through Canada. All of the specs say it is capable for 4G LTE but I have not had any success in getting it do operate on this network or with this setting. I am on AT&T in USA. I am currently running Resurrection Remix 5.1.1.
Two questions:
1. Can I flash a new radio to get 4G LTE on AT&T? If so I know there are radio codes, any any help on the code prefix that wold apply?
2. Are there settings from the phone dialer to make the phone operate on 4G LTE.
BTW...I did try to change the dialer settings some time ago, gave up, put the phone in personal storage and decided to give it a new whirl, starting with asking for some help here.
Thanks.
