That was the first i try. Not help.
My first tought was it's a hardware error, but i find a great test program on market called z-device test and every sensors and the gyroscope seems to be ok...
EDIT:z-device test not display gyrosenzor z-axis. Gyro 2D Visualizer does, the gray circle rotating...See next post

FIXED
Type *#0*# on phone.Tap sensor. Tap gyro selftest.Wait until pass. Double tap back button to back.
Maybe have to repeat after some time. There is a great program to test Gyro 2D Visualizer

[Q] accelerometer problem.

Hi guys I have a problem with gio's accelerometer, i found out about this in a game: by entering *#0*# and going to sensor I noticed: while the phone is lying down still on a level surface with no vibrations accelerometer data is changing and it never stops. It is not important in normal use but in some apps and games this is realy a problem.
So any solution?
ok ...removed.!!!
Try to go Settings->Display->Horizontal calibration
Or try to change the ingame titl sensivity
On my phone accelerometer data also chanching but really a little bit.

Demanding much?
You come on a volunteer, community-based forum and complain because you haven't been answered within two days?
What troubleshooting and testing have you done?
Is it on all axis?
Does toggling the different radio have an effect?
There could very well be issues with your Gio alone.
This could also be a problem with a driver for which we don't have a source to look at.

sorry to say that,I had a bad day.
well yes. I tried anything and it is the same.
I wonder if this is because of hardware.
even in htc hero accelerometer works better than this.

Hi, your gyroscope may not levelled or paralleled along horizontal.
Please try to calibrate it.
Gyroscope calibration is located inside advance setting.
IMO, if your gyroscope is levelled 45 degree along horizontal your quick glance will activated only if your phone is angled 45 degree along horizontal also. BTW, you can use the quick glance while holding it, other user think it will not work but actually their gyroscope is just not levelled along horizontal.
If you think I helped you, please pay it forward.
With any kind of favour,
many times as you like.
Until your spirit bright sparklingly.

[Q] Front camera motion detect

Does anyone know of a tweak to make my screen turn on automatically when the front camera detects motion in front of it? I have my phone mounted on my wall for home automation tasks and a tweak like what's mentioned here would make me incredibly happy. I've so far not found anything like this. Or maybe it's how I'm wording it. Hopefully you understand and someone can point me in the right direction.
Not really what u looking for. ... but u can turn ur phone on thru proximity sensor e.g tap tap application can help u out

Not exactly what I am looking for, but it will work wonders until I can find exactly what I need. Thank you very much, going to test this app out now!

Touchscreen delay - anyone else experience this?

Running the latest global beta 7.6.1 ROM just updated tonight... was same on 7.5.16 too
My Google pixel does not experience this.. It is really bad on games too - like Pixel Gun and Minecraft PE
I have similar stuff happening on 7.5.19 Xiaomi EU ROM. But it doesn't bother me.
Basically, I think the ROM gives some tolerance on how far should the initial movement has gone to unlock the pointer from the initial position. Definitely not a hardware problem.
Does anyone else have this issue? I am thinking about returning my MI6.. can anyone else take a video using the multitouch tester like me, and doing a touch and fine movement on the screen without making the circle move? please help! I really need to know if this is just the phone, or whether mine is faulty. thanks so much in advance

Actually the touch is very sensitive, just the way they decide that if you put down the finger like that, no mistouch (no movement is recorded). Whenever I play game, just push enough and move your finger and I have no problem with that (as a habit of gamers, I don't stiched my fingers on the screen that much).
Actually if you put the finger down and move it a little, it move the circle. But if you hard push for longer, slightly move don't move the circle. Hope you can sort it out.
Sent from my MI 6 using Tapatalk
That's what I have suggested to him too.
There shouldn't be a problem if you immediately move your finger upon touch. It's just if you don't move, it'll create some threshold in order to the cursor to be movable from the initial position.
Does the multitouch works good when you are not holding the phone in the hand? try putting the phone on a pilliow and try using 5 fingers on the screen with this multitouch tester app and see if it recognize all 5 fingers.
I had the nexus 7 2013 and it had that problem :/

There's actually no problems at all touching the screen. its only when I touch then drag, I need to move my finger greater than 5mm for it to recognise the finger is moving - if moving the finger slow... Watch the video I posted in first post and you understand.
In a game, for example. playing a FPS game like Minecraft - you select the block you want to remove and then you swipe your finger from that block to the next its very jerky, because the pointer does not unlock with small finger movement. takes big movement then its unlocked. once unlocked its fine - the whole time I don't lift my finger from the screen..
So its really annoying playing games - because I have to touch the screen, then swipe to unlock the pointer, then I can aim and shoot at the enemy or remove blocks in minecraft.
Some have said its the game, but you can also try with the stock launcher - going between screens of apps, you swipe left or right, it takes 5mm finger movement before the screen starts to move to the next..
I tried the inbuilt Finger touch sensor tester, and the touch and move finger 5mm is represented as 2 pixel dots - instead of a line. so something is farked up in the software. I have 2 x MI6 (bought another to test) and both seems the same... Xiaomi need to fix...
Well my Mi 6 is on the way from GearBest China and when i will get it i will install the Global Rom and will try to do this test with this app and will see if i have the same problem as you.
Purchased mine on Gearbest aswell (international rom), came with 8.0.2.0 upgradeable to 8.2.2.0, I upgraded and I have not this problem at all.
Maybe they fixed it with the latest update?

I also have Nexus 7 2013. The problem was jittery touch when you do multi-touch. It's kinda different problem.
But the case in Nexus 7 2013, it can be fixed by pushing the fix via ADB.
Same here.
But i think the developers want it.
I think it is a feature, not a bug. For better usebility.
Yes lol, a feature that we don't really want exactly like the notification light new feature which is that it only have one color - white.
Hmmm.. Maybe I'll order the OnePlus5 when its out... and use the MI6 as a spare

There's no "Touch calibration" option in my Xiaomi.eu ROM. Only "pass" or "fail"

Okey, I don't own this device so I had no way to check, if it was possible or nor, I do consider buying this device myself, but that touch issue, sounds really annoying....

I tested this, on a friends Xiaomi Rednote 4, the touch delay wasn't there as far as we could see, so it doesen't seem to a feature of MIUI, maybe it's a bug or something.
It was running MIUI 8.1 I believe.
If it is a bug, you should ask Xiaomi to fix it.

Question (FIXED) POCO F3 Touchscreen doesn't respond well to precise small touches

(POCO F3 LATEST MIUI 14 STOCK)
I got this new phone yesterday, overall it's pretty good, but i noticed something weird, when playing games, specially shooters where you need presicion it doesn't have a good response to small movements,
it's like having high deadzones with a analog stick from a controller, it doesn't recognizes position changes of the finger immediately after the start of its movement.
i have to pass a couple milimeters of distance from the initial position to the next to register, i haven't seen much people talk about this but some people say that it is a phone issue, others say it's a miui or rom issue, i seriously want to root the phone to test other roms, but i don't want to lose the warranty right now so i want to make sure if i can do something i didn't do.
My poco x3 nfc didn't have that issue, but i sadly can't do comparisons because it's not longer working.
Video example from reddit, not my post but it is my exact problem.
Thanks for reading.
(EDIT) i fixed it! it was just to manually adjust some settings in game turbo, this was getting through my nerves, please watch this video if you have the same issues.
I have the same problem with that, but i tried a lot of roms and fixes for that nothing helped.
If you really need only in game's, i found a solution of small movement via gyroscope, maybe that could help you.
This sucks... Yeah i use gyroscope to do these small movements for now.
Do you have the same phone? I'm thinking of returning it, but i still don't know if this one i got is a bad unit or all poco f3 suffers from this. I'm still thinking what is the best thing to do.
I have same phone i don't think its unit problem . Root your phone (you can easily unroot later) and use increase touch magisk module by vito hermawan.

what did you do in game turbo?
You have to adjust touch settings manually for every game and set it exactly like this, if you don't know where to find this watch the video i linked in the post

Pro mode for some reason sucks i don't know exactly why, it feels really bad but maxing these three options make it feel perfect.
Dont use Pro mode, just go into custom and to like the guy said on video.
I don't recommend you to change any of those touch settings.it becomes more choppy. Just disable swipe to screenshot feature.

Search this in settings
Hey guys, i fixed this problem with clearing all data of "battery and performance" and this enables 120fps in cod mobile and i dont have latency with touch. Try it, it will solve all your problems.
