Disable Notifications Toggle - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hi Everyone,
I noticed that on kyanrom and other ROMs such as the one from Rogers CANADA has a toggle to disable all notifications.
When activated, this toggle disables any notification sounds and also disables anything from popping up in the status bar.
I would like to get the same toggle on my jelly bean ATT based ROM. Any ideas on how this can be done?
PS: I already know about blocking mode on jelly bean but its not the same.

[Q] Notification toggles without notification?

I currently use Power Toggles on the verizon Galaxy Nexus running JellyBelly 9.1. Is there a way to have the notifications stay on top but not have a notification icon? I used to be on Paranoid Android and it had notification toggles built in without the notification icon. Is there any way I could get that on the JellyBelly rom?

Widgetsoid from the market keeps it on top with the ability hide the icon in the status bar but that place remains empty like if there was something invisible there

Yes that is also an option in Power Toggles but I want to get rid of the empty space completely.
Don't think its possible. In order to display something in the notification shade (like toggles), it has to be tied to a notification icon too.

Is is only possible in custom roms? Because I tried ParanoidAndroid and it had notification toggles on top without any notification icon.
Yup. Custom ROMs only. If it were possible, why would these toggle apps have to have a notification?

Its available in custom roms cause they mod the status bar itself
All these apps do is borrow some space on it

No apps are possible to do that. Google don't let them. Toggles you see on custom ROMs are all built in to the ROM itself, so that's why it doesn't show the notification.

[Q] toggles in notifications..??

i want to have toggles like wifi bt data etc etc in notification menu in stock jelly bean rom...?? is there any mod to do so? please help.. i dont wannt flash another rom for just these toggles
I don't think so, most notification bars are tied to the ROM and not the Launcher... But I'm not 100% sure on that.

Just install Power Toggles from Play Store. No need for rooting or modding
The user above typed faster than me.

Widgetsoid has more customization than power toggles. I suggest to try widgetsoid. Search in play store

i would recommend widgetsoid or notification toggle from the play store.
Both work great.
The newest version of Switch Pro Widget added an option to put your widget in the notification tray. Loving it so far.

The best. Free and matches with the Holo theme.
Do you mean in the pull down notification menu?

This looks like what you're talking about... But it just creates a constant notification icon that you can customize: which is the next best thing you jelly bean.

Toggle between 2G & 3G in Notification bar with stock 4.1.2 ROM

My Note II is rooted and with stock 4.1.2 ROM also with stock Recovery. How can I put the toggle for switching between 2G & 3G in the Notification bar? Also is there a way to increase the no of toggles in this notification bar form 10 to say 15 or 23?
Same demand for me
Don't think it can be changed in one click. Best I've found is this shortcut to the network settings page.

Simplistic framework is required for this but you need to rooted no matter if you on stock rom and stock re overy

aosp ROM + brightness slider

Sure do miss that from the 4.1.2 days I know most AOSP ROMs offer the feature to slide the bottom bar to adjust brightness, as well as the toggle that pops up with a toast notifcation with the slider, but I really do like having it set in the notification panel.
Suggestions?
I'm curious too but I'm interested in a way to get the cm like slider where you just slide the drag down bar. Recently switched to PA and no such goodness on it

Reminders in the notification bar.

Hey everyone, I have a note 2 coming with TW out of the box ofc, then switched to Stock Android based roms to get rid of TW bloatware, but the thing is that persistent/unremovable notifications I have in the notification drawer aren't Automatically pushed to the top of the notification drawer like they used to with the TW, any help will be appreciated.
Like the "BBM Connected" reminder.
Here's a screenshot
