Anyways, try ripple lock. It's an ICS/Honeycomb style lockscreen that can be used on any ROM rooted or not.
Can always use no lock and get rid of the lockscreen. That's what I've been doing or using the fake fingerprint scanner

Aww, I thought you were gonna help us out and do them for us . I don't know how to decompile and recompile.
It looks like the time to start a simple list as a Sprint TW/JB leak has been put out into the wild and many users have flashed it.
Let's try to use this thread for the handful of committed developers on TW based roms going into the world of Jelly Bean.
The intent of this thread is to be a clearing house of items that we want, or want back, in future custom TW based jelly bean roms.
Couple simple rules.
1- Use Search - if you are on mobile version of xda, then find a computer and use it, as there are more comprehensive searching abilities from a computer.
2 - Don't ask for stuff if a developer already has made it, and use screen shots of what it is you are talking about.
Note: I am a fun loving guy, so, if you do come in here and post crazy stuff, or repeat questions, I will have fun with you, it is isn't personal, and, trust me, I am not flaming you. If you want to be flamed, go over to cajunflavoredbobs thread (Google Now for ICS project)

I say tw jellybean and cm10 hybrid that would be sick. Like my other thread but it would be the best rom for me!!

I know this is an odd, and likely impossible request. I would like the ability to turn off/on capacitive buttons. My nephew plays games on my phone but keeps hitting the back or menu button. Not too bad when a phone is that good that this is my only want.

better battery...? My GNex is leaking juice 1% per 2-3 minute now. When I unlock the phone, it's like looking at a countdown at the notification bar. :crying:
And GTalk broke. Searching for solutions.
I have noticed improved performance, especially on Google Now. I have not had any issues with battery, it seems to be getting through a day with moderate use like before.
Battery is no different for me, steady drop while screen is on, decent idle time.

Got my update at 6:00 am EST this morning.
I kinda like this Samsung ROM. Not sure I want to ditch it to root and try other ROMs that are probably more buggy at this stage, unless I can guarantee full recovery to stock and hopefully not take up too much space storing ROMs (9GB user space is getting used up fast!).
I was hoping for an update that would improve other things, such as batter life, for one.
I see that Samsung released an update recently on international versions (build number ending in MDM) that may have improved other things besides what is reported to be improved in this build pushed from T-Mobile. Can someone shed some light on this? How do we know if T-Mobile has pushed fixes that include the latest Samsung updates? In my 'About Device' in settings, I see Android version 4.2.2, Kerrnel version 3.4.0-453951, and Build number JDQ39.M919UVUAMDL, which I believe is this update.

The system partition's size does not change no matter what you flash. You can return to stock, see guide.
Is the kernel locked on this one?
Locked kernel = can't install recovery via goo or ROM manager.. And must use ODIN. O;

Yeah that's what is disclosed, but maybe they made some framework charges that are subtle that not everyone notices. I'm not installing until it's confirmed to not have a locked kernel. 16mb could include what they said with some small changes that aren't disclosed.
