That's what they are saying in the CM10 thread, but I don't see anything official.
But some were saying that the nightlies have been using 4.1.2 for a bit now so you would think that M2 is as well.

better battery...? My GNex is leaking juice 1% per 2-3 minute now. When I unlock the phone, it's like looking at a countdown at the notification bar. :crying:
And GTalk broke. Searching for solutions.
I have noticed improved performance, especially on Google Now. I have not had any issues with battery, it seems to be getting through a day with moderate use like before.
Battery is no different for me, steady drop while screen is on, decent idle time.
For me is like rebirth

This is what I was thinking of doing, but forgive me for asking this. If I root the GN will I be able to update it when any of the updates come out? I was thinking that rooting wouldn't allow me to do this. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I just got my nexus, running stock on android 4.0.2 with the extended battery.
I'm getting about 4-5 hours tops before the phone is dead.

You need a month to realize you have a "laggy Gnex"...which is the slowest between you and your Gnex....
Another and another trhead about that...
If you can't understand...Runs on stock rom/kernel...You're running a custom rom/kernel and it's laggy for you...so don't change anything...
Takes a new sgs2...
No warranty that a custom rom/kernel are better than stock or your previously sgs2...

Franco's kernel used to be really nice but, I don't care for it anymore, MY OPINION http://rootzwiki.com/topic/14685-11-may-glados-v133/ glados kernel is a lot smoother and has all same options + some I've been very very happy with it . I think it will fix ur issue I also use liquid 1.35 same rom as aokp just settings put in different places

The onething I noticed that the Android percentage dropped from 63% to 39% when I reviewed what was using my battery. Anyone else seen this? Agats 2.2 kernel is the one I installed.

I thought it was bad at first but yesterday I got 12 hours and today so far its at 11 hours and 30 min's and is still at 57%. Its only gonna get better cause the OS is still the highest thing draining my battery so its still pulling the stats. I think its good battery life.
Same as flashing any ROM. It takes a couple of days for the battery to settle into the ROM. The first couple of charge cycles are probably gonna be garbage. After a few days you should be fine. Don't worry about all the whiners.
I think people been exaggerating the battery drain.. It hasn't been bad.. Just gotta give stuff time to settle in and stop tweaking stuff and always changing up something... I been having great battery with heavy usage

Personally, I have not had any issues. In fact, my battery life has significantly improved. I am still trying to pin down if it is app or ROM related.

I have a fix for the lagginess in builds from the past week and a half or so. The culprit is the surface flinger library. It is the android compositing system and some changes recently made to it are responsible for the significant lag in recent builds. Most noticeable spot is if you hit the home button if you have the notification drawer down. It becomes extremely laggy without this patch. Scrolling is also less smooth whenever multiple things on the screen are being drawn. This fixes all those issues.
Just flash this in cwm or whatever recovery you choose. Should work on all cm10 builds and cm10 based roms like paranoid android.

Quick question. What link did you use to root your phone. The one from chainfire or the other one from mskip.

Stock with bloat... but I froze it. Then again, bloat has nothing to do with battery life, I just didn't like the icons in my app drawer, lol. I uninstalled the games that came with to free up additional space.
I have yet to see a single ROM that comes close to stock screen times or battery use screenshots. To be honest, I don't see the need for ROMs currently. Most people could do more with a launcher.
Yeah I feel ya. Kept going back to rooted stock, always seems to be better for some reason!! Anybody know why

I think it's because Samsung bolts down a lot of their code, and it's very difficult to get everything working well once you start tinkering with it. From what I read, a lot of ROMs would fix one thing, and break another in the process.
