Are there any plans to incorporate use of the s-pen in future cyanogenmod updates?

The s pen works fine in the aosp roms but you won't have the Samsung apps use apps from the market like papyrus etc

Gestures are incorporated into cm as well just not the stock Samsung gestures

I have a Gnote 10.1 tablet and have a plethora of apps modded that work with the multiwindow and am wondering if this mod also works on the Gnote II? Anyone know?

We have different mod programs that allow you to select any app and add it to the multiview window. No need t mod specific apps!
Checkout clean Rom it has this app included.

How about a stock solution?
I am interested in this too. Does anyone knows how do we get more apps to take advantage of multi?

Any option to do this without flashing? I don't mind rooting stock but I'd prefer not to have to flash.

Flashing is the only way because the programs used aren't native to the gn2

I looked down the list and didn't see any questions about this. Can anyone recommend a good replacement app for the s note app if I'm running a cm based rom? Basically I'm looking for an app that will allow me to doodle using different pens tips and colors and will also allow me to write notes over a pic and whatnot. Paid or free is fine.
Thanks!

Ok. Help? I love TW and also want the advances of 4.2.2 My question is this: are there any roms out there that combine these two? Thanks in advance!
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app
No as the note 2 does not have a stock 4.2.2 rom

It SEEMS that the Touchwiz 4.2.2 will be on the Galaxy S4... but about a month from there, they will probably be announcing Key Lime Pie (hopefully if reports are right... and they never are LoL) and according to said reports, Samsung will throw it out to the S4, SIII, Note 8.0, Note 10.1, and Note II http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/448071/20130320/samsung-set-deploy-key-lime-pie-galaxy.htm
SO... be patient and enjoy the fine works our current devs are putting out so graciously.

There's definitely still some time left before we get a clean, stable 4.2.2 ROM.
Hi, i was just wondering if anyone was working on air view/gesture, smart stay/pause/scroll, or multiwindow, or screen mirrioring on any of the CM builds? Or is that kind of a lost cause because its implimented in the tw framework? Thanks.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda app-developers app
If you are going to use CM then all of the Samsung air gestures aren't going to be there, so yes it is in the touchwiz framework
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda premium
Thanks, but i already knew that, i was asking if devs were working on a port, or if they have deemed it impossible because it is implimented inside touchwiz?

Saw this on Android Police and I love it so far. If you used the spen board switcher and it was always finicky with the Samsung keyboard, you won't have that problem with this. Plus the gestures and such work a lot better. Editing a sentence works a lot better too since you can scroll through your whole input stream.
Enjoy!

Yes but I personally find the TW keyboard to be absolutely horrendous and non-dpi change friendly. After using this keyboard (and Touchpal) I don't want to be anywhere near the stock tw keyboard haha
Thanks. Iwas looking for something like this. How do I set it up so it activates only when I pull my stylus out?

i just can't get the keyboard to change automatically. i read somewhere that the at&t phones have this issue! I installed CM S Pen Add-on and Notebuddy also. Set default to AOSP keyboard and alternative to MyScript Stylus. In SPenBoard Switcher, the setting is fixed. the custom apps launch with notebuddy, but I don't want MyScript Stylus keyboard options, I need the keyboard to change automatically based on my stylus status. I am just about to give up and manually switch keyboards! But this app is great though.
i just use tasker to switch my keyboard based on the application open... it works great for me.

Tasker by crafty apps, correct? There is no trial version that I could find.

The one thing that would be really nice is an icon that activates the regular keyboard.
