Hi guys, I have a huge problem. The volume down button of my device is broken. Is that another way to enter in the recovery mode?
Thank you very much!

Depending on your ROM it might be an option in your power menu. Otherwise use ADB: adb reboot recovery.
Im currently still stock, and I have the same problem. I want to unlock the bootloader but unfortunatly, i cant.

Just detach the volume rocker from the unit. Use some some tweezers or something that can "click" the button of the volume rocker, uhm. Maybe a fork will do. Or a long fingernails. My volume down is broken too, i always do this when my phone is brickes and i want do go into recovery. Hope it helps

In adb fastboot reboot boot loader or fastboot reboot recovery. Remove volume button and use a sharp pen to press.

I cannot boot into recovery. I was attempting to update ROM/Firmware and now I just get the white HTC screen - won't boot up at all. PLEASE HELP!!!
You might want reinstall your recovery, or try a different one. I use ur pc to push the recovery onto your sd card and then put back in your phone. Then, start your phone by holding down the volume down + power button. You'll that should bring you to hboot. Once your recovery installs, just select recovery from the hboot screen and you should be ok.... As long as you rooted it correctly, that is.

On my telephone bootloader is not loading.
When the phone starts i get in the recovery.
I tried to hold the volume down button but i also get in the recovery.
What to do?
Turn off your phone. Press Power button + Volume down button together till the bootloader screen pops up!
Are you on full stock? Or custom recovery? Try flashing the custom recovery again and do fastboot erase cache after that...
Or type :
Adb reboot bootloader
When you are in the recovery
Thanks pressing the powerbutton en the volumedown Button at the same time did it.
Thanks

Hello!
Just unlocket my bootloader with freegee. I have the E975 device with v10d. I have chosen the CWM touch. But i could not enter. It just entered fastboot. Then tried again with freegee but this time i picked the other one. Version 2.5. Still just enters fastboot.
I searched the threads, Only hits i got was some failure about the boot. Not the same problem i have.

THANK YOU! I couldn't enter recovery after some nasty bootloop. You helped a lot! It was power+volume_up to get to fastboot, then tap volume_up twice then tap power and done!
Hello from the newbie.
Ok guys i screwed up big time on my htc desire hd. I bought the phone from ebay and it was already rooted. It had a superuser icon on it and it was a 2.3.5 gingerbread. I downloaded CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies and went to recovery mode and fleshed it. But me being a newbie didn't know that S is on. So now my phone is stock on white screen with HTC logo on it. I still can go to recovery mode with no problem. Plese help what to do?

Yea i dont know how to do that ha ha. i will try to look up for a video tutorial. Thank you
Did you pull out the battery for a few seconds -->put it back-->hold volume down 3 seconds, then simultaneously hold down power button for 1 sec while keeping vol. down pressed.
Its been awhile since I've had to do that. A menu should pop up after asking your option for fast boot,h boot, recovery etc... From there you can see if you're s on OR s off. (top left corner)
I wish I could say I have done that before, but I have been on s off for a very long time. I'm not sure if you can turn s on or off from there

You can't and he already said that he's S-ON...
As for the OP, do some reading before doing things that you don't know how! Use search on the XDA site! And this is the wrong place for this post!
