Does anyone know how to apply a font which you install as an apk on aosp? I couldn't find a place to actually apply it.

I tried but the fonts I want to apply are in apk format and I couldn't find a way to install them from font installer.

Oh they are in apk format. I don't think they will work in aosp roms. But the font installer by JRUMMY APPS should definitely have what you want

I use a black themed one that allows for lower density and has no region restrictions.

I just want to know if I made a CM7 theme that worked with theme changer would I be able to upload it to the market and anyone who has CM7.2 could use it? So basically I want to know how to make a theme that could be used on any CM7.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Would it be okay to move this to the general section...? I think I'll get a little more help over there.. I'll let it sit around here a little longer though.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA
No this is a question... thus q&a general is for general new and things... not questions.
But themes for cm7 are much more difficult... it requires you building your own application or taking apart one and replacing it with your themes... but even then for things to work you need to edit xml's. Put basically you have to know how to make an application.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
Exactly this. Google how to make a theme for CM7 theme changer and most of the links tel you to edit someone elses apk.

Well thank you =).
And what about just theming the template of it and making it as a flashable zip? Would that be the same making a theme for TW?

Yes... but that means people must keep it on system default and can't run any other theme... otherwise there will be conflicts... its more useful to make a theme apk for the theme engine... than make flashables as flashable replace the UI and OS but the apk mends them or morphs them... which has less conflict.

I've looked into one of the theme apks and I don't see all of the images I wanted to change. There's only like one folder that has most of the major images but I didn't see a lot of what I wanted.

I was wondering if there's a way to change the app drawer icons without having to download themes. I have icons that I'd prefer to use of my own choosing

You could Meta morph applications. But I'm not entirely sure how. Search around for how to use metamorph. Should be able to then place those icons in a zip and flash and it will morph the applications and replace the icon.

Just download a theme Chooser app that's free like one of the holo theme apps. Then decompile and theme them. That's what most do.

Yea been there and also couldn't find one either. It seems the mods currently available are meant for the 4.1.1. If you really want the exact same experience as the Note 10.1 then you should try Mini Tab Rom.
Also, this might sound dumb, but try changing the extension of the zip file from .zip to .apk and then try installing.

That only changes it to phablet mode but not tablet ui. A tablet mode would mean the status bar would be on the bottom.

In "xposed app settings" (a module you have to install for the "xposed installer".
There you can set app specific settings like resolution.
