Hi Folk's,
Just wondering could anyone help me out got a Note 2 on Sunday as a Christmas present to myself. I love the multiview feature, however I cannot edit any apps on it. There is no edit option on the sidebar. I have not done anything to the phone. Attached is a thumbnail of the sidebar. As always any help would be much appreciated.

With the stock rom, you cant edit it unless you install the multiwindow control [xposed or simplilistic framework]! You can also install custom rom that include this feature e.g. omega, etc.

Path problem?

Hi there,
I noticed when trying to open a file with for instance pqview, I can only see the my documents directory. I know there´s a fix for this somewhere on this forum, I only have not be able to find it with the search feature...
Does someone know what to do?
Thanks
Anyone any idea?
Please please? I know there´s a fix for this somewhere on this forum. Just can´t find it. Would really appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction
for starters...
update ur signature. tell us ur phone version ur rom ur radio and the details of who cooked the rom.
second more details on ur question such as the app u were using to open with.
i dont have this problem. the apps always show two three or four options as to base location to choose from.
either my device. storage card. network. or extended rom if unhidden.
these r usually located at the top left as a drop down.
u may have lost ur sd card... if indeed that is where ur looking.
in the end dude... urnt a noob with that many posts either that or u have been flamed some.
first signature. then lots more details. we r not mind readers n dont have time to bugger around with people who ask such half baked questions with inadequate details to give u an answer.

yes... which api are you using?
Thanks for the replies. I'm using the LVSW version WM6, of 26th march, for the Hermes. The program which has the issue, is pqview.
I have not lost my SD card. It is accesible through file explorer
can you post a link of the pqview website...

Walshieau, I don't know. I downloaded it from the "Rocking software" section on this site. But it's no longer there. Well, do you know of any other good picture viewer then? With easy zooming/thumbnail overview?
Regards.

why do u need custom app? wot ru trying to do?

I don't find the build in app easy. To zoom for instance, one must go to options, zoom. I like to see thumbnails as well.
@dmxl
Here is the link to the thing.
You will also find a nice flash animation on how to use it here - it is showing pictures like one attached.
Please use Google first. This is not a support forum for PQView.

Thank you. However, if I would have been able to open the pictures, I would not have posted.

The attached picture is printscreen of the instructional flash presentation there which tells how to open a different directory. In short to open a directory other than My documents there is a way: In Pqview tap file>>Open Image>>you see open file screen which offers my documents folder for browsing, if you tap the screen directly above left top edge of this box you will get dropdown box in which you can choose to browse : your device (which means you can browse further for whatever file you have on your phone) or My documents. See attached screenshot. It does not show the caption of the current folder for me but you can clearly see where to tap if you want to open a file wrom within PQView. I managed to open some pictures so you should be able to do so too.

The first time you use the Gingerbread Keyboard (any theme) it NEEDS to be flashed with the zip files provided. This is because it installs the keyboard app & a Library file (.so extension) that is required for it to work.
After you have flashed at least one of the Gingerbread keyboards, you may take the apk out of the zip file and install like any other app with a file manager (Root Explorer, My Files, etc.).
Not to sound selfish, but everyone that is thanking the OP, can you please take the time to thank myself, camalot, and s0niqu3 over in the original thread.
maybe you can include french too =) ?
Hi Razer(x)
Hope you can add italian dictionary.
Thank's for all your works.
Would be nice if you could include English.
No offence but currently it's American
Thanks for your work. I'm very happy you got vibration feedback working
ANY REQUESTS SHOULD BE MADE IN THE ORIGINAL THREAD.
Not to take away from this (the mod) getting seen by new eyes, but all Razer(x) has done is post the link to Camalot's thread. Please read that OP to see that different languages were taken out for a reason and to find out that Camalot will need help adding languages back in properly (due to his MASSIVE modifications).

Gingerbread: Change Quick Settings Menu

Hey folks,
i've found many people in the web with the same question but nobody had an answer to it yet:
i'm on arhd 5.1.4 with a mod that gave me additional quick settings in the notification bar. i would like to remove some of them because i won't use them..
is there a way to do this? i mean, the dev added some settings, it can't be that hard to remove them again...
maybe there is a way to modify the installation-zip-file before flashing the mod?
thanks guys!
You would have to patch the SystemUI.apk (edit some smali files).
Try asking capychimp, he managed to add settings so I'm pretty sure he can tell you how to remove them.
thanks! will try it and report when i got a solution!
fyi
bad news. no way to do this for non-developers...
thx for that info
I searched exactly for the same "problem"

Question: anquien know where I can get this mod? Power Menu

Hi, could someone tell me where I can find this mod? is the one with the download button and integrated into the menu reconvery power.
The omega rom has it, would put photo but I am noob not let me.
Sorry if I was not well understood, thanks.
The correct section to ask this would be here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1569.
Taking a screenshot is just swiping your hand across the screen.
As for the mod: We can't know what firmware you're on, but try here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1715238.

Are you referring to the stock samsung keyboard? It had some swype like functionality, but was not actually swype. You can enable this via: “Settings” > “Language and Input” and then click the wheel next to “Samsung keyboard” and check “Continuous Input”. (Instructions from external website, cannot confirm because current rom does not have stock keyboard.) Hope this helps.
