remove YouTube from Internet

hi everyone,
i have tried to modify the 27c65zbd_manila and want to remove the YouTube label from the Internet tab, however even i made the file empty, the YouTube is still here, why so and any solution? it is ROM related?

Alternatively I think I saw something about editing registry to remove icons and links.. you can try searching for that.

changing the font color?

i am not sure if i am asking in the right polace but i was wondering if there was a way to change the color of the font in the notification bar? i know how to change the font type but i cant figure out how to change the color. if someone could point me to the correct file(if it is an xml then i also need pointed to a way to edit it) i would appreciate it. i have searched for hours and cant find the correct info. thanks in advance

You may run into the same problems here because you are Enom's ROM. It is a great ROM, but not as easy to theme as Cyanogen. Note that the colorchange.jar is for CM ROMs, so make a nandroid backup before trying anything.

I found this link in the OP of the ROM you run:

This is exactly what you need. Just change the statusbar to black (in framework/res/drawable and framework/res/drawable-land), sign, and flash.

building a theme, need some help with clock text

Hey guys, I'm building a theme for the CM rom to use all the htc taskbar shiz.
I am having trouble modifying the text color of the date and time.
Notifications can be changed within the rom, but if those are close by too it would be nice to know how to change those.
I'm pretty sure these details are stored in services.jar but need help accessing them and changing them back to white.

Edit edit: Tried like 5 tutorials with no dice. Any help? I tried using the colorchange.jar but am getting an error cannot find clock line. I tried manually editing the classes.dex. Still no change.

[Q] Theme Questions (noob)

ok so i have had this idea sence i bought this phone of making a complete rework theme/rom and all the icons, i have been searching around for all the info i need and found some but not all so i am going to post some questions and hopefully when i get off work the main ones will be answered so i can start. i have been dieing to do this for a week lol.
1. i have windows 7, to make things easy should i just dual boot win xp?
2. i want to change the notafication bar but i have not been able to find ware the icons are?
3. I read that i need to sign all the apks i change if i stay with win7 will the program someone made to sign apps work?
4. If i edit the image in the drawable dpi(i think thats the folder) do i also need to edit the XML docs?
5. if i want the rom to install lancher pro by default and set up a custom tray is that possible or dose it have to be changed after you install the ROM?
i know some of the questions might seem stupid but im trying to learn because i really do enjoy tweaking this phone i have been walking around with a notepad all week sketching ideas down as they come to mind so any help would be great thanks everyone.

+1, I have had a hard time finding enough info to make me comfortable to start editing the 100 or so .pngs in drawable-hdpi.

[Q] Set default ringtone when cooking Rom

Can someone please point me in the right direction for setting the default ringtone in my Rom. I edited the build.prop before cooking, but there has got to be more to it than that! When I go into settings there is nothing check-marked as far as what ringtone is being used. I have to manually put a check-mark there. Please help, I've searched and haven't found the info I'm looking for.

They are in the build.prop @ the bottom or close to it..
