Imei and rom

I was wandering if I lost my rooted phone and someone put a ROM on it and the imei changes. Can my phone company still blacklist it since the imei changes?
And if the phone blacklisted, would the phone work on other carrier if the person unlock it?
Can phone company track who using the phone? Like who login with their gmail and other account? Or which WiFi the connect to? Or which Sim card was used on the phone?

They have a number of apps to help with phone recovery.
Plan b, Prey, and Cerberus are a few.
Rooting your phone doesn't make it easier for a thief to use when stolen, however

i was in the same boot as you. you must of wipe your "importants data" like efs files. do you have a back up by any chance before you even flash a rom?does your your imie show "0".
I don't think so where would I find the imie number at so I can tell weather it say 0 or not

Try flash back to old rom or a different rom. Do you have a backup of your efs files? EFS partition is actually a internal place in our android device such as android phone which contains some important and some basic info related to our device identity like Wi-Fi address, Bluetooth MAC address and the very main IMEI address (nv_data.bin). If your efs gets corrupted you cannot get data or make calls.

Maybe your apn is not set.settings/more settings/mobile network/apn. Check to see if your carrier is listed.
Thanks I check the APN setting like you said and everything was blank so I had put all proxy number and port numbers back in I didn't know flashing a ROM would erase that but thanks for the help

Is the phone up and running now?
Somewhat I just can't get the APN settings to stay I would be good but the error is gone when I make or receive calls

Sounds like you need to set the apn, but that's just a semi educated guess

On mine there is s sticker on the back with this information.
You can also go into Settings -> About Tablet -> Status. and you can see the serial number there.
Thanks. But I can't find status in setting (I'm on stock Rom)

Try going into about phone/tablet and clicking hardware information. Between 4.2.2 and 4.4.2 they reorganized the settings menu a bit. I told you to look in the spot for 4.4.2. My apologies.
yep the serial number is in settings-about tablet-hardware information
