Nice, same issues of CM10 too? there is more roms everyday. THanks
Just curious why is CRT animation not working an issue. Is it linked to a critical feature apart from the visual appeal? I haven't seen anybody asking for it.

It's expected that all AOSP ROMs will have at best the same keyboard support as is in dman's 10.1 currently. Meaning: Sym, voice search, and .com don't work, but everything else does, except there's an issue with shift/alt and certain apps.
whats the camera issue ?
Guess who's in the wrong thread again.
Can someone reproduce the Google Search crash on this ROM too, for the sake of completeness?

the greater good, just out of curiosity will there be an AOKP version of version 4.2.1 as well. Do you have plans to develop that or D man is the only one developing the CM 10.1. I am more interested in the version 4.2.1 due to the fact that i am blind and rely more on the accessibility improvements in that version. So i have two captivate glides, i do plan on flashing a rom as long as i know that the physical keyboard is working on any of these roms as far as doing what i need to do. as far as the alt and shift keys goes, has that been mapped and do they work on any of the JB roms.
ill look into it...
Alright DMAN put together AOKP 4.2.1 hammered out most the issues for me the and will give source to continue work on it ... enjoy

Yes correct, thanks!
I think the hot reboot during sleep is caused by the crt animation but i want to make sure before i go decompiling framework-res and maybe cause other probs.
As for the error in android itself i have no clue what causes this yet, must be something in the framework also.

Thanks for the logcat, i dont have much time to work on the rom with my work so i hope some other devs can jump in and help out.
Overall performance of the launcher and scrolling is very smooth compared to 4.0.3. This port has much potential.
Dont know if its worth putting alot of effort and time in it though as 4.0.5 is around the corner.
Status update :
Fixed the hot reboots and the errors!
Verizon login is giving me a hard time but it looks good so far!
Goes in beta today !

Thanks. Downloading beta. If there's anything I can help with, holla. Aside from fixed bug it was pretty solid though.
[EDIT] Works Great. Very Speedy, doing a restore of apps and as long as dead space runs landscape I've got myself a new daily driver. Thanks.

[DEV][WIP][ROM] AOKP Project [4.0.4][SU-Fix Alpha2]
What is AOKP?!Recently, a new ROM – AOKP (Android Open Kang Project) – has become very popular, and is gaining
more users with every passing day. Like CM9, AOKP also provides its users with stock Ice
Cream Sandwich experience with some tweaks added by the developers to enhance the overall
usability experience of the ROM. The lead developer, and founder of AOKP ROM, is
Roman Birg who is also a full-time college student.
Differences Between AOKP And CM9 ROMIn CM7, most of the advanced settings added by the CM team were tucked under the
‘CyanogenMod Settings’ sub-menu in the Settings menu. However, with CM9, the CM team has
done away with CyanogenMod Settings sub-menu, and has instead tucked away all the options in
their respective categories, which makes more sense. For example, now all the advanced options
related to your handset’s display are present under the Display sub-menu in Settings.

Just flashed it. I do believe the Navigation bar is messed up, or is that a new button style? Looks too squished to me.
Nav bar is awful
Many thanks to everyone testing.
The nav bar is from here
If you would like to revert back to normal, I will upload a zip tomorrow to revert it

Honestly the Nav bar keys you used look glitched, even if that's how they're supposed to look. You're going to get a lot of complaints about this because really, they look more defective than stylish. Thanks for the zip though.
Great ROM I hope there are still features and regular updates to follow. Thanks for your work
Stupid question: is everything working in that ROM?
What are known issues?

I'm using it and I can say it's bugless (at least for me!)
No bugs till now. I didn't find any bugs after lots of testing.
My opinion: It's the best.

settings>liquid splasher>performance = "unfortunately, Settings has stopped."
Hey there thegreatergood, thanks so much for picking up this ROM! Great to see development continuing for Liquid Smooth on the Glide. :good:
Is there any hope for fixing the audio bug in Skype and Google Talk? Any tweaks or debugging we can try to help get it fixed?
Re: [DEV][ROM][4.2.1][Unofficial] Liquid Smooth - 1/26/2013
Random thought on the bluetooth HSA issue, it might not be a bluetooth issue, but rather a phone.apk issue.
This is just great, the development is really fast greatergood
Btw then if i want to ride into these JB ride from GB i just need to install the zip from the recovery? Or install the ICS first?
--------------
1 thing again, does this rom included your voodoo sound from the litkernel,?
Re: [DEV][ROM][4.2.1][Unofficial] Liquid Smooth - 1/26/2013

Hey thegreatergood, loving the ROM. Only one question: why is it using the gingerbread music player? or is that the AOSP music player?

this rom is awesome :good: im not changing it to anything else
everything is working great except wifi tethering and other bug: when someone text me back very fast i don't receive any notification (no vibration, no bln, no sound). but rom is great anyway
I'm not sure if this is related to the rom or a hardware issue, but my phone just recently started having trouble detecting headphones. I will plug in an audio cable or headphones and the phone will alternate between the speaker, the headphones and just stopping the music. It does this randomly, and I can't seem to figure out specific conditions for it to occur.
sounds like ur headphone jack has a loose connection ... i've had to replace mine .... bought one off ebay ...

it's weird, because it just worked fine for the past 20 minutes... :/ Oh well, if it comes down to it, I'll have to get it repaired. Just wanted to check here first to make sure I don't do anything unnecessary.

I'm actually using JVC Xtreme Xplosives earbuds, so I don't think it's the headphones. Anyways, haven't experienced the problem for a while now so I guess it solved itself. Damn intermittents... :/
