Hi All,
Since upgrading to JB (ARHD 17.1) I discovered I can no longer connect to my enterprise WiFi network that uses PEAP authentication. The phone simply retries and retries to connect, occasionally showing an "authentication failed" error.
This bug has been reported for Galaxy Nexus users running 4.1.1 and a fix can be flashed for their phones, has anyone managed to patch this for the HTC One X, or will the Nexus patch work for all Android devices? The 4.1.2 update eventually solved their issues but I need WiFi access quite urgently as I am currently travelling.
Your help is appreciated!
I had the same problem with my One X+ when trying to connect to my work PEAP network.
I flashed the zip from here via recovery: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=34212#c10
It fixed my problem. Hope it helps.

I installed RSK Springtime v 7.4 with SNQ kernel. After a couple of hickups (like ext4 partition issue, FC issue at first boot, getting google play apk from different forum because it was always force closing) I was able to install it perfectly and it is working absolutely fine now and I am loving this ROM.
The only issue remains is that I am not able to connect WIFI using 802.1x enterprise security in office. With WPA2 I am able to connect at home.
After searching the forums I found that few people resolved WIFI issue with a different kernel DZ #18 but not sure if the issue they were facing was with 802.1x or it was a general issue.
Can the RSK team suggest what should I do? I am not really keen on redoing the complete exercise of installing the ROM again but if thats the only solution I guess I had to go that way.
The change log of 7.4 says that this issue if fixed but doesn't look like it is fixed (Fixed wifi to connect with 802.1x, PEAP and MSCHAP (Hope)).
Device: Desire (Bravo) PVT1 S-OFF
Kernel: SNQ Kernel 2.6.35.8-snq-111118

No its not. I am running 7.4.2 and it still persists ... I could connect just once and then I could never connect again
Do you get any errors / messages when you try to connect to Enterprise-network?

No, it could find the SSID .. .says authenticating ... and then disconnects.
Did you try to add the network manually?

Yes, since we have a hidden SSID, I had to add the network manually.
Before rooting, it use to work only after moving to the new ROM, i am getting this error.

Updated to RSK special edition.
The workaround to this issue is to put credential password and then connect. Once connected it will work till I reboot the phone.

Were you on 4.3 stock rom? If you were, that is the problem. Flash stock 4.1.2 via flashtool, and then flash cm.
wifi
flashing stock rom helped, but my phone still doesn't connect to wifi network. It detects network but it doesn't connect (saved, secured with WEP). Any solutions?
I just bought this phone a couple days ago and it was working perfectly fine, I started downloading the updates, i eventually got to the 5.01 lollipop update and updated, I booted up and was excited to see the awesome android L features, sadly whenever I open any app (example kik, instagram, snapchat, or even google chrome) it will not connect to the internet, I used my data and it works fine, so I decided maybe it was just a bug so I did a factory reset and it still didn't fix it, so I unlocked the bootloader flashed a recovery and several custom roms which still did not fix the Wifi issue. I am stuck and don't know what to do at this point. Please help, thanks.
