Album art ...where are you ?? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

hi all !
i used to use play music and i painstakingly find all of the album art for my songs just so that it look pretty , and lately i changed to cm10.1 and it uses apollo and man did i screwed me up , the album art are all messed up and some of them are missing , i tried using album art grabber , clearing apollo data etc but it ain't doing anything ...any help?

Try another media player. If they work then it's an Apollo issue and needs reporting in the relevant thread

[Q] Sense Music player and Album Art

Hi all
I have a Desire and have done for a while and I've swapped from 3 player to the Sense player, which is fantastic.
However, I can't seem to get the album art to show, I' using Linux with Rhytmbox, the album art is in the player but doesn't show up in sense when I play it.
Any help?
Thanks all

Gracenote Album art

Hi together!
I am looking for the folder, where gacenote copies its data to.
Can anybody help me out there?
EDIT: FOUND IT! It's in android/data/com.htc.album
me too! and im also looking for the folder where the sense music player keeps its data like the playlist.
Sorry to bring this old thread up again, but I was searching for the files gracenote is downloading automatically, and didn't find any answer. Problem is, that once (wrong) album art is downloaded, it can't be removed by re-syncing music to phone again.
I solved this by deleting wrong album art from
Code:
/sdcard/Android/data/com.htc.musicenhancer/files
This made my mp3-included covers visible again (works at least for HTC music player on HTC One M7 / Sense 5)

Same Album Art For all songs

For some reason all my songs have the same album art..
Its sooooo annoying..
I've tried flashing different roms (currently I'm using the JoyOs).. but this problem exists everywhere..!!
I've attached a screenshot.. Out of the 5 albums 4 have the same album art..!
Please help guys..! :fingers-crossed:
use a app to get album art
my wildfire also had this problem. I had to manually change the wrong album arts. there is an app called ITag, that's what I used.
I think when we have photo(s) in the folder that contains those songs, media library mistake them for album arts and apply that image to all or some songs In that folder.
hope this Info helps

I use to get this with most cm7 based roms, as suggested above use app that can grab album art, or try a music player winamp or poweramp (others probably have same feature) as it searches the web for the correct album art and Presto! No more barbie girl on your Avenge sevenfold albums

[Q] album art problem in the stock music player

hi,
strange problem in my new g3.
i use ID3 tags to embed my album art in all of my mp3 files.
they arranged in one folder.
when i use power-amp it shows correctly every song with it's own album art BUT strangely the G3 stock music player is not showing the album art at all or (in some folders) show a particular album art of one file located in that folder (its not even the first one ??)
i also checked the files with the stock file manager app that also shows the mismatched album art just like in the stock music player.
any idea ?
Up
Do the songs have album title information? If not, android will replace the missing album title with the directory name these songs are located in.
Further more, some players use album arts from android database (use this to change album arts, songs need album title) or from the file itself (no album title needed)

Sadly its general problem of Android and most of the devices have same disturbing issue. It was on my Gi5510 and still on my G3. Poweramp shows correct if any artwork attached. For now there is no solution seems like but will research this. This issue is really disappointing, 'cause i like to use stock music player rather than 3rd party apps but its not good when other songs artworks attached to every track. If anyone will found a solution please reply this. I will subscribe this thread. +1 for OP.

I used mp3 tag to embed album art for my music and had no problem with it showing up in my music. The only issue was it wouldn't show up if the image was larger than 4mb, but I doubt that's the case for you guys lol. Have you guys used mp3 tag? If not then use it, if you have then could you elaborate a bit more, because I think it may be fixable.

Album art in HTC Music app

Does anyone know if the stock music app is supposed to read album art from a file in the same directory as the music files? E.g. a folder.jpg.
It's not doing that for me... Or I'm doing it wrong
Thx
There are much better music players out there. My personal favorite has always been playerpro.
I've liked Music Player (Remix) since the original webOS days!
