Any Stock ROM? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I've tried a few custom ROMs but none of them worked out for me —either battery hogging kernel or AOSP look (way too many features missing) etc
So i was just curious if there's any ROM that's almost identical to stock, but different in that it has multi-view included (doesn't come with stock i317M rom). I heard that the AT&T Note 2 stock ROM has multi-view, but thought that might not properly work out seeing that I'm with Bell.
Would appreciate any suggestions.

Have you tried CleanROM? I believe that falls in line with exactly what you're looking for. I love the stock rom too. So much that I have a permanent nandroid of it. I was thinking about trying CleanROM for the exact same reasons.

I currently have CleanRom 3.5 installed and love it. You get to make a ton of choices as to whats installed when installing it. Mostly it seems a stock rom with a lot of the bloat removed

[Q] Stock rom without bloatware for S3?

Hey all,
For a while now, I have been running a very cool AOKP blend on my s3 with all the latest bells and whistles. I am getting kinda tired of all the little things that dont work on this ROM. Does anyone know if there is a ROM that is basically the stock rom of the S3 except the bloatware is removed? Ideally it would still allow for root if possible. I just need a stable ROM where everything that worked with the stock rom works here.
As always, Thanks in advanced!
You can just use Titanium Backup to freeze/remove anything you don't want in the stock ROM. If you search, I believe there are debloated stock ROMs available elsewhere on xda.

You can flash any tmobile custom rom since the AT&T phone is unlocked.
Flashing a good custom rom will make the phone run a lot smoother, better
battery life, many extra features and it definitely will look a lot nicer.
I highly suggest to go with the Wicked v10 custom rom.
There is nothing else like it for the S3 at the present time.
It's the most professional custom rom which is available
for our phones here on XDA
Good luck!

[Q] Confused about how to upgrade to MK4 based ROMs

I've been poking around looking for a Touchwiz based ROM to upgrade to and I'm completely confused and thoroughly bedazzled (comic sans, multiple colors, huge signature graphics, etc).
It seems that MK4 based ROMs are based off of the latest Sprint images, but to upgrade into one of those, you have to revert to a stock less than MK4 ROM, then update to MK4, then upgrade to an MK4 based ROM? Does it matter if you are rooted or not? I got the impression you had to unroot at some point...
What happened to the days of a ROM was self contained? I've seen several ROMS mention that you had to have a certain base ROM already installed to install a different ROM. That sounds needlessly complicated....
I found this ROM I would like to load:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2537186
and it seems this is a stock MK4 ROM, but I'm not sure

well to answer your question about if you need to be rooted to flash this rom or any rom. As for your first link that isnt a rom its a MOD. That MOD allow you to add those features to a 4.3 rom and above. And for the second link you can flash that itll be stock. The link I provided is for the rom im currently using which is TW based rom ad has the Note 3 spen features already included. Check it out. Hope I made sense. Let me know if u have any other questions. Ill try and answer them to the best of my knowledge. Good day to you

Ah, I see what happened. I didn't know there was such a thing as a MOD, only ROMs. I came across the ROM you linked to thinking it was a repost of the MOD-that-I-thought-was-a-ROM, so i was wondering what was going on.
I will give that ROM a shot. Thanks for clarifying things!

[Q] Looking for Stock Rooted 4.2.2 ROM for VZW

I just got a SCH I515 for my mother and it's currently running Cyanogenmod 10.2. This is going to be her first smartphone, but she's familiar with the stock ROM on my Note 2. So, I was looking for a stock rooted 4.2.2 ROM. I've tried searching for a stock rooted ROM without any luck. I really don't need a rooted ROM for her, but I'd really like to run Rom Toolbox and Titanium Backup.
So, does anyone have a link to a stock rooted ROM? If there's one that has all the bloatware removed like the Sophisticated ROM I ran on my Note 2 that'd be ideal.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I have no experience with the i515.
As far as I know there are no TouchWiz ROMs for the i535 at version 4.2.2 because it never official got the update (straight from 4.1.2 to 4.3.0). Are you looking specifically for TouchWiz ROMs or are AOSP acceptable too?

I'd prefer a TouchWiz ROM as my mom is somewhat familiar with that. I'm really just looking for a debloated stock ROM.

That looks like a good ROM. Is there a way I can use the Samsung TouchWiz keyboard on an AOSP ROM? I personally hated the kb in every AOSP ROM I tried on my Note 2.

TW ROM Recommendation

Hey, I'm using a N900T, and was wondering if there are any TW ROMs that are compatible with mines with a clean international base. I don't use WiFi calling or anything, so I don't need it. I can do without the T-Mobile customizations.

For quite a while, the t-mobile update was the most current update period and ran just as stabile as any international rom. I recommend trying the recent nf1 room from t-mobile and using Titanium backup to freeze unwanted bloat. Can't go wrong with either effortless or vision.

Ironically I'm using a T-Mobile ROM with almost every T-Mobile app ripped out with TB. I don't care much for the tmo boot animations etc. I have to see if this is that nf1 you said. I'll check into your other mentions.

So you got a N900T Tmobile phone and want the best and most compatible international
custom rom, well there is only one to choose from in that catagory and it's the X-NOTE.
Unlike other N9005 roms this one does not need any wifi/nfc/bluetooth fix file for it to work.
But best of all it's truly a work of art and it will even work properly on the Tmoble network
without the need to flash any Tmobile kernels.
It comes bundled in the Aroma installer which has ton's of options as to what exactly
you want to install and what you would call junk/bloat and so forth.
But if your really into a stripped down rom and only want more or less the very
basics, why not simply flash a AOSP/CM CyanogenMOD rom?
Those have so much ripped out that the twrp/cwm flashable zip file including the
gapps is way under 3-4 hundred megs in size compared to the 1.4 to 1.8GB
full featured custom roms.
Here is the link to the X-NOTE International thread where you can read all about
it before downloading: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2472301
Good luck!

I use AOSP(I have a backup of CM11) and Touchwiz, but when I use Touchwiz, I would rather have it the way Samsung would probably want it, without carrier junk. I'll check into X-Note too. I think it's safe to say that I'm still new to the Note 3 scene.

I've been looking for a new ROM. X-Note looks good, but i'm wondering how well it works on the N900T. I know you can install it with a patch and kernel, but does it run the way it's supposed to if it really was made for the international version of the Note 3?

I am running X-Note now and I have a Tmobile branded N900T Unlocked Note 3 and
the x-note rom works great with it.
One of the niceties about it is the fact that you don't need to apply or flash any patches
for the wifi/nfc/bluetooth to work properly and you don't even need to flash a kernel.
The X-note rom is so compatible to the Note 3 N900T that all it really needs is a full
and complete wipe including factory reset in twrp/cwm recovery before flashing.
Good luck!
