Just download the stock rom or probably any rom, and find the vtt-sprint.apk file in the zip. If you cant find it, pm me.

If you're using Myn's RLS5, did you flash the dialer mod? That one has been known to cause that issue. Mods not written/upgraded to RLS5 can cause issues with the framework files that can cause similar problems as well.

I am running Myn's and flashed:
thepiecesfit's Sexy Rosie Launcher Pro/ADW Mod

And it also shows "C2PMNGE PUK" at the end of my text messages... I really like that dialer, wish there was a way to fix it!
i had that issue when i upgraded my system to 3.70 and flashed a older mod. its an easy thing to fix. grab the apks that are modded and swap the png's from the old mod into the the newer (3.70) apk/s. from there flash the zip. if you dont know how to do so, tell the developer of the mod to update the framework/mod.

JUST an FYI, when you need apk's like this, just download a ROM, that should have it in it, and unzip it , and BAMN there are all the included apk's in system/app or data/app ...
Usually quicker than waiting on someone .....

Do you know how to extract apk's. I use total commander and any unrar program... my favorite is winrar... Or on your phone you can download any unrar app, then download a rom and navigate to the system/app folder and you can extract the apk that way.
I am not saying I wont help because I would have to download a rom and upload for you but I am trying to show you that the task you are asking can easily be accomplished by you without help from anyone else
Or is it that you need an exact copy of the phone apk only from an official el29 update?

Wow. I see people asking crazy things, I can do it myself...that's correct. I can extract. But I am away from my fantastic wifi and where I work its not the best signal. I just need someone on a deodex el29 to copy from there system/app/phone.apk and upload to 4shared or anywhere . That would be a big help. If not I will do it tonight. Just asking for help. I'm not being rude, I only need what I'm asking I can handle the rest.

Wow is right and I was not trying to be anything but helpful in my post. I was not sure if you did not know what to do so I simply was explaining a couple procedures in order to achieve what you wanted. Your original post did not have any mention of download capabilities.

Its always good to keep a couple of ROMs and kernels on your SD just in case of emergencies. Its saved me a couple of times.
Thank y'all. I am trying to rig up some stuff between an og epic and an epic touch. I really want the dialer from the epic touch because when u t9 dial it searches the first and last name and w the og epic it will only search first or last. Fairly annoying. But at any rate, the framework is different and it would not work for me. I just wanted to try it out.

For future reference.. The Sprint Voicemail is in the rom updater
Click add ons (in the rom updater)
And scroll until you see sprint Voicemail

I tried to install the modded Samsung stock keyboard. Unfortunately, either it does not work on on my Sprint Note 2 or I installed it incorrectly.
Since it's my preferred keyboard, I would really appreciate if someone could please post the stock samsung keyboard. Many thanks.

...not just in theory, but in practice, would anybody be able to use the apk from one of the myriad of ROMs out there? Simply download a ROM's zip for your version (4.1.1 vs 4.1.2), extract the files from the zip, then find the apk(s) needed... yes? Any concerns or "be careful" things to know about this if it is just as easy as it seems to be to do?

Which apk are you trying to use? It should work. Just make sure to backup in recovery first just in case.
OP did you try the autocorrect keyboard apk? If so then it didnt work for me either.

Wasn't being specific to a certain apk, but that sounds like a "be careful". And yes, I have way too many backups with all of the flashing I've been doing over the last couple of weeks. :laugh: Was asking more along the lines of "in general".

Many apologies but it didn't work. Same force closing problem as the modded keyboard. I'm on stock deodexed lk8.
Does anyone have the lk8 deodexed rom version or know how I can get it from the deodexed rom?
