im gonna be upgrading from my s2 to the s3, was just wandering if the partition layout is similar to my s2 or different in any way. S2 has about 2gb app storage, then the additional 10.5 gb space is used for whatever else.

can someone just take a screen shot or two of their storage space in settings?

12.05 gb of internal storage. I'm on cm10 not stock though.

More like 12.05 GB. The phone (stock) is advertised as 16 GB or 32 GB in the US. a lot of that space is prob taken up by system resources. So you are left with 12 to play with.

what about device memory? the e4gt has 2gb for apps.

My phone went from 321mb available on the internal memory to like 14mb available. What could cause this? Today I tried the el30 deodexed rom, I didn't like it , so I reverted back to legenday 2.2. And now my phone says low memory.

Could the partitions be messed up?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
I'm guessing so try odining back to stock repartition and start fresh could be a bad restore and possibly doubled it for some odd reason.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
Yea, that's what I'm thinking too. Well, better to start from scratch than play the guessing game.

Reformat this. Simple yet effective title and what you're looking for in the actual post. We can't see what you're asking.

No. All Galaxy S2s had 1gb of RAM, even the i9300 (int'l S3) had 1gb, the 1st phone to have 2gb of RAM was the carrier versions of the S3 with snapdragon CPU.

Did you try and create a new "0" folder? And copy what's on /root to it?
Sent from my LG-LS970 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yeah i tried that still getting the same error might have to go back to stock and start over because it wiped my back ups
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
Don't you also have to sim link the folder to read as sdcard?

I have the same card. It is best to format it first. Go into settings, More, Storage, mount the card if it isn't already mounted, then format sd card.
