Thanks for the heads up! This keyboard is even more awesome now

I'm using it now but it's a little buggy still, try and swipe it's...... I can't get it to do it.
But it's brilliant for a beta.

The reason I keep going back to Swype is the double vowels that no other keyboard allows you to do. I love how you can circle around the double "oo," "ee," etc. I wish Swiftkey can implement it.

Swype being irritating, help

Whenever I text or anything the word choice window goes on and off constantly for the words I type and keeps adjusting the screen. Is there a wary to keep it up constantly?(don't say Viagra..)

Use the beta. Go to the website and sign up.

I thought it won't let me if I have Swype installed? I can't delete mine, I'm not rooted and have no computer to root.

It's annoying because when I go to hit send, there weird choice box chooses and it doesn't hit send and I move so fast I don't realize I didn't send my message, not only that but it seems like its making my texts lag big time.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
You could always turn off the word suggestion. Another option is to just root the stock rom (custom recovery[i.e. twrp/cwm], superuser) and uninstall Swype and install Swype beta. I use the beta and love it! No more bouncy screen lol

Since most of you guys reading this post are Swype users, have you tried using Keymonk keyboard? It's like Swype, but supports multi-touch input with 2 fingers. I thought this might be perfect for the Note 2 with 2 handed operation. I've been using it on my S3, and thought that it might be the perfect keyboard for the Note 2. It might take a little time to get used to for new users. Any inputs from those who have tested or using it on Note 2? I can't test it yet since I don't have the Note 2. I'm looking forward for the Note 2 when it comes to the US.

Hi, I'm the developer of Keymonk.
You don't sweep two words at the same time but one word with two fingers, just as you would tap type it with two thumbs.
Take a look at this thread:

One reason why swype functionality on the Samsung Keyboard is deactivated is because you may have enabled some accessibility features. When I try to activate accessibility features for Tasker and NotifierPro+ I get this:
Air view and TalkBack cannot both be enabled. Air view will be disabled.
When I deactive the accessibility stuff the swyping works again on the Samsung Keyboard. Actually Swype doesn't have an issue. However, I'd like to keep using the Samsung KB because I can quickly switch to hand-writing recognition. Very annoying.
which is better, swype or the swiping with the samsung keyboard?

It would be nice but this isn't possible. The Samsung keyboard requires the touchwiz framework to function.
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda premium
This was done on the original Note. I'll take a look at that one and see if it can be done.
I want this as well. Missing the one handed operation. Paid for thumbs keyboard as a workaround now.
But what if you have touchwiz already?
All I really miss is the dedicated top row to number keys. If someone could hack that into the AOSP keyboard that would be pretty cool

Have any of you locked in on the best settings for this mod? I would love to do this! I have a note 10.1 and a note 2 and love them more everyday because guys like you figure out things like these. The other cops at the pd were making fun of my really big phone the other day until I started showing them snote and multi Window capability to watch movies and take notes and then play music and all that. This mod would make them regret their iphone purchase.
Only thing they have that I wish we had is the whole group messaging, which I hear is coming in Android 4.2 ...

[APP] MyScript Stylus Keyboard

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.visionobjects.stylusmobile.v3_2_store
Saw this on Android Police and I love it so far. If you used the spen board switcher and it was always finicky with the Samsung keyboard, you won't have that problem with this. Plus the gestures and such work a lot better. Editing a sentence works a lot better too since you can scroll through your whole input stream.
Enjoy!

i just can't get the keyboard to change automatically. i read somewhere that the at&t phones have this issue! I installed CM S Pen Add-on and Notebuddy also. Set default to AOSP keyboard and alternative to MyScript Stylus. In SPenBoard Switcher, the setting is fixed. the custom apps launch with notebuddy, but I don't want MyScript Stylus keyboard options, I need the keyboard to change automatically based on my stylus status. I am just about to give up and manually switch keyboards! But this app is great though.
i just use tasker to switch my keyboard based on the application open... it works great for me.
