Installed Rom but device unrooted??? - Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660

Hallo,
Yesterday i flashed the rom CM9 from maclaw. Before that, i made a few back ups using Titanium Back Up. After flashing i downloaded Titanium but the app says my device isn't rooted. When i download a root checker he also said my device isn't rooted. I already applied update.zip again but it doesn't help. Even link2sd doesn't work. Its strange because superuser is still installed. Can somebody help me?
-sorry for bad english-

Flash with doky 's stock rom
Now root again.
Now you install creeds rom
Will work.
I've done it many times before.
I usually make mistakes when flashing roms or testing mods. Always have a odin with firmware package ready

Restoring my backup of chobits digitalis. Have to do some work, after that only i'll install creed 3.5 again and see if all these methods work. Btw, if i just push superuser.apk in /system/apps/ and push busybox too, will it resolve the issue??
i'm using creeds 3.5 and got no prob using titanium bck up and superuser were just fine,

I flashed to the Odin ICS (first one) then put ardatd's kernal on then flashed ICS , flashed his kernal, then odin back to 2.3.5 from samfirmware
Then u should not be rooted if u used the samfirm tar file. That takes it back to solid stock... is ur recovery back to stock as well?

Yes
Might just be a problem with att. Manually flash a stock 2.3.6 and see if that works.

Are there any simple plain proper English-language guides on how to unroot properly? I've tried installing the stock ROM from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1364740, and my phone is as rooted as ever.
For that matter, can I and should I uninstall clockworkmod recovery? If so, how?

[Q] Rooted or not?

use superoneclick, btw, cm10 comes pre-rooted I guess?! maybe theres something corrupt..
you should have installed CWM after you rooted already.

Kill adb.exe and try again

i got same problem.. did you solved it?
It should be already rooted... BTW!?
Ηι, someone was able to do it and how?
I have the same problem, actually this is the 2nd time.
I installed clockwork recovery, flashed cm9, it wasn't rooted.. Tinkered around and it worked. I remember it being fairly simple and therefore I took little notice of what I did.
After screwing my phone up I flashed again.. Now no su access, no root access.. And i cant seem to surpass it. Clockwork works fine, and superoneclick does not
Flashed rom and su patch from maclaw..
If anyone could shed light id be very grateful.

If I remember correctly, cm9 had an option to enable disable root access for apps and adb. Have you checked if you have the right options enabled in the settings ?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Yeah, I've tried root apps only and root apps + adb
Also tried disabling root and applying su patch.. Nothing! It sucks cos I hate bloatware. Cm10 was rooted using the dev options in settings, but the rom was too unstable for me
Sent from my GT-S5660 using XDA Premium HD app
Try following these steps. Might work
1. Flash Stock ROM back.
2. Root the phone.
3. Install Clockwork MOD
4. Then install CM9 RC2 by maclaw
5. After that, install the patch through CWM
These steps worked for me.
It worked for me! Yaay su permission has never felt better
Thank you!
